A few days ago I wrote that one of the potentials of the Jupiter Uranus conjunction was that the truth could set free. “Really”, I added, to accommodate the Saturn opposition. Real Freedom. Not bad.

A couple weeks agom I was working on a story, Desert Living, Once Upon a Time. I was enjoying myself tremendously (Jupiter) right up until I hit a wall and had to stop (Saturn). I felt a responsibility to explain to people reading but struggled with the copy – Mercury Rx and all, so the explanation has been stuck in draft for a number of days. Now I see it has broader application, so I will try to re-tool… a number of days after the fact…

I am going to have to unexpectedly (Uranus) stop (Saturn) my story (Jupiter). I feel bad about this but I started publishing it (Jupiter) on an impulse (Uranus) and turns out I neglected Saturn which is opposing the two planets.

Had I been minding Saturn (caution), I’d have read ahead to see what I’d written in that story as it has been almost 10 years and I don’t remember you know. My memory just doesn’t retain this stuff for a number of reasons and one of them is there is no need.

Someone told me years ago it was a lot of trouble to be a liar because you have to track everything all the time.  He said  it was much simpler to just have a policy to tell the truth and since this is in line with my nature I adopted his philosophy on the spot. I was about 21 years old and I have been telling the truth consistantly since.

This means when I write a true story, I don’t have to check my other true story to see if  I have messed up my lie because there is no lie.  This a a great benefit I’d say. It’s a funny spin on the concept the truth will set you free but in whatever case, my husband went back to work and it gave me a chance to read ahead, the story I’d been posting and fact is, I can’t post this stuff. I could get away with it in 2002 but almost 10 years have passed and the climate has changed where there are restrictions (Saturn) on what you can publish (Jupiter) unless of course you wish to shoulder the burden which I don’t.

Back then I just wrote down my life and this was okay to do. Today my life is not okay as it contains history recorded as it was rather than history that has whitewashed and being a born truth teller, I am just not willing to sign my name to bullshit and so I will exercise my freedom (Uranus) to not (Saturn) publish (Jupiter).

It was an old man (Saturn) who told me of the benefits to truth telling (Jupiter) way back when. Committing (Saturn) to telling the truth (Jupiter) affords you freedom (Uranus) to not have to back-track and go back over things which means you can move forward to your future unbridled.

I think this is interesting but I also feel a responsibility (Saturn) to offer this perspective on truth (Jupiter) because if was offered to me and you can also see how stories (Jupiter) can support (Saturn) and liberate (Uranus) you.

My job is done here.  If you younger Caps tell this story in the future, that would grand.
