Mercury Retrograde: One Week To Go – How Are You Faring?

This Mercury retrograde period ends in a week and has seemed super slow and concentrated to me. Communications have been heavy, delayed or about delay as in, “I am going to be slow responding.”
It’s a feeling of not being able to process very quickly or even if the mind can get there, the fingers (or the mouth) are lagging.
My work is 80% Mercurial. I either have to think or communicate or simply manage to enter data correctly and all of these things have been affected.
As many of you know, Lupa has been doing tarot readings on the boards and other things in the works. satori is going to teach a class for example and I have to THINK about these things. Saturn in Virgo insists I think carefully and gah. My mind likes to run!
I feel like I am missing a lot on the surface but less so deep down. Mercury is trining Pluto in Capricorn and things having to do with power and structure are pretty well understood but finesse is lacking.
I do have Mercury in Libra which will make art of communication if at all possible but these last couple weeks I feel like my words come across sort of CAVE MAN and I am just about sick of it.

This is setting off my natal Mercury/Chiron/Moon stuff. Lots of stuff coming in from the deep. My ex has resurfaced and opened a lot of wounds. It makes me so unbearably sad.
On a positive note it isn’t windy today, which is a good thing for my job.

I hadn’t haven’t heard from any of my friends lately. I do feel a bit stagnent right now. Not so much slow just stuck! But the other day I was taking a taxi to the doctor and the cab driver told me I was a good story teller…very fluid and should take a story telling class at the local college because I would really enjoy it! No one has ever told me that before…but I noticed while I am typing I am making a ton of mistakes! Yikes!
Yeah, mind like mud with occasional bouts of writer’s block. Mercury Rx in the 6th opposing natal Scorp Mercury among other things.

Oh man, things seemed very slow last week. The Mercury Mars square was affecting my natal Mars in Gemini so I was super SUPER bogged down! I was physically so utterly exhausted, but things are speeding up… which is how I like it 
Gah! I didn’t think this Mercury Rx was going to be a big deal for me, they often aren’t, but SLOW yes, foggy brain. Productive in other ways. Started selling books on Amazon again, so progress there. And, have been getting some things straightened out. 8th house matters where tr Mercury Rx falls in my chart. Then a big email flub which brought up some major stuff for me personally and which may have God knows what fallout but which may be healing in the long run. Yet, an unexpected communication which MAY herald a large windfall. Remains to be seen.
Well…my internet has been off and on for two days, and two of my married friends keep asking me to join them in a three-way, so…I can’t tell if that’s good or bad. Just fucking crazy.
I have hardly been able to sleep a nice long sleep or enjoy some free time throughout Mercury Rx. Seems like the work just piled right on and everyone I know needs something or more of something. It’s a lot, but at least Friday is looking up. Well, homework wise. Money has been made, but I hope that I’ll have some breathing time this weekend!

what’s been getting to me is _everybody else_ is so slow. on so many different things. though as they’ve been finally coming down the pike they’ve been pretty heavy. this is fine by me. i’ve been waiting a long time because they’re important.
i have taurus mercury. guess i’m more used to moving in it? and then i wonder if this is what i do to everybody else ;P but maybe my longer practice makes me more effective with it. at least, i can tell myself that.
i’m giving the woman who offered to make my wedding dress until the end of the retrograde and then i’m going with the other one recommended to me. if only i could do the same with the photographer 
i’ve spent all morning back tracing where i might have left my atm card which is my only access to cash here…bwah….time to call the bank…

I am counting the days until this period is over. Last week I got a call from my daughter’s school that there had been an accident on the playground and they were sending her to a hospital. As I rusheed to the hospital, I was rear-ended by another driver. Thankfully, both my daughter, myself and my car had no permanent damage. Prior to last week, I came very close to being in two other serious car accidents right before that. So I feel like this mercury retrograde period has a target on me and my car. I think I need a good pair of walking shoes.
All roads out have been washed away – can’t go anywhere until they get fixed. & no postman.
If anything, things seem to be easing up slightly, as this has been a long, slow torturous few weeks. I finally have a job interview after months of looking and the good thing about it is that it’s going to come in three interview stages, so I hope that I will be offered a job by the time Merc retro has been over. Plus the Taurus stuff is trining my sun/merc and Venus is about to roll in to my 6th (work).
Other than that I have been having very up and down days, it feels like something’s gotta change now or never.

It feels pretty normal to me. My Mercury’s in Virgo, so this is how I felt all throughout my Saturn transit.

This has been one of my best Mercury retro periods ever. Maybe because it is trining my natal mars and pluto? I have been so incredibly busy–and able to concentrate–these last two weeks, finalizing the last of my projects before leaving my job at the end of this week. A job I’ve been trying to leave for months now! I hope my leaving during a retro period doesn’t mean by idiot boss will drag me back via an enticing project…
No computer or car problems for me but old friends, flames and overdue tax notices popping back into my life this past week.
My life is changing big-time this winter/spring. Jupiter, Uranus and Chiron squaring my late Gemini sun has forced changes–good and scary–into my life. A new world awaits!
I’ve been communicating and no one is responding…perhaps they’re still thinking about how to respond? Perhaps they never got the message? They don’t hear me? They misunderstood my message and were offended and decided to give me the cold shoulder? Communications have been slow if at all existant.
I’ve totally forgot that Mercury is in retrograde, but communications have been difficult.
It has been perfect to revisit stuff I thought had not affected me and to be clearing, clearing and clearing out the cell memories and trauma residues. Cutting cords and burning time lines. Standing taller everyday! Perfect.
This mercury rx has been hilarious. all the generic mercurial hjinks have actually been happening on a daily basis but most of it, I’m finding remarkably funny for some reason. Its like comic or is that cosmic relief from all the saturn, uranus and pluto
madness. (smile. smile really big.)
This one is intense. Brutal. Relentless.
I suspect Saturn sitting on top of my Mercury is part of why it’s so bad this time around. Uranus should be technically clear of my Moon, but I think Jupiter is keeping all elements connected just enough to cause mayhem on a daily basis.
Even complete strangers now ask me not to touch their machines, for fear that my curse will spread.
The crazier it gets, the calmer I am. I suspect it’s all my natal Pluto-Scorpio stuff that allows me to focus and stay the course when everything tips to chaos.
Also, I find it highly amusing when people emerge from the woodwork, as with every MercuryRx. Laughing’s good.
