Why I Love Astrology

Outtakes and various other sundries

zodiacI get to write things like this:

“No, I think if she was a liar, she’d have revealed that by now. You ARE keen and you’d have caught the lie. You did not report inconsistencies, I do put faith in your read of people, that is why I confirmed by saying “If you’ve not caught her in a lie…”

That said, I am pretty sure she over promises as I mentioned but that is different from lying. It’s more like accidental exuberance or something and if you can allow for this when dealing with her (well within you capabilities) then I see no problems…”

Ha ha.

Know anyone who is accidentally exuberant?

My man! Ha!

Ok…he’s exuberant and he embellishes stories and is an accidental exaggerator. lol.

*raises hand* I used to be really bad about over promising. I also used to double book myself constantly. I finally got my two Gemini selves to talk to each other and quit doing the latter and I think I grew into my packed 10th house and learned my own limits and capabilities. I only promise what I’ve proven I can do these days.

That’s me. I can do it to if I don’t watch myself, mostly when the sun squares my uranus. Exuberance, optimism, and bouyancy.

Guilty as charged. I have a backlog of things I promised (all art related) to people. Luckily it’s friends and family who know that I am slowwww, and with a toddler it’s put that much more stuff on the back burner. I haven’t promised anyone anything in a while. If I decided I want to do something for someone, I just don’t tell them, so if it doesn’t happen, no one is disappointed. And if someone asks, I just tell them no.

I occasionally still find myself doing this a work sometimes though, mostly because though it been a year, I’m still not adjusted to working only part time and thinking I have more time to work on a project than I really do.

uhhh, that would be me too! I keep thinking I have way more time than I actually do, but I’m getting better at saying no and realizing my limitations…not perfect, but better.

I over promised a lot when I began getting sick and was not yet used to my new lowered capacities.

Did not like being unreliable but it took a bit for my limitations to sink in.

yeah, i do. and i don’t consider it lying at all, i just mentally temper their confidence with my own perceptions. i don’t want to rain on their parade, i just don’t start building the float until i see it’s really happening.

me too, but depends on if my sag ascendant in alliance with jupiter conjunct mars mercury just has the lead. Moon-saturn in 3 demands for clarity and liability.
Just thought they both should have different phone numbers, so people will be able to decide who they want to speak to (Guess the sag side will get lots more calls, since it tends to be extremely entertaining.) They work together well when i´m writing though, fortunately.
