Spring has sprung and now is the time to update or buy just a few more pieces to add something to your wardrobe or body that puts you in the mood and in the right style for you to enjoy the season.

Aries: You may love to buy a bit of bright rain gear! On the go as you are, there is nothing like lifting your spirits with a splash of red, for example in a raincoat or an umbrella. You might try a red plastic shopping bag to carry all your acquisitions or even, if you dare, a brightly colored hat! I know, Aries hates anything on their head so the hat may not be you but if you are an Aries that shows off their hair, you might opt for the bright colored hat for those rainy days when your hair is not going to be or stay at it’s best.

Give up those skinny jeans for a pair of baggie pants that are fitted at the waist and tailored down the leg and you will find that if you pair them with a fitted top they are just as sexy as your look when you wear your jeans that you’ve been wearing time and again! Go out and get a hair cut that works with your natural waves, or lack of, since natural hair is so very “in” this season and you so dislike working on your hair anyway! A good hairdresser can give you a wash and wear cut that can last through the spring and summer rain by bouncing back for you each time it gets a bit wet out there!

Remember that your style is very popular right now in the way you don’t like to plaster your face with make up! You’d do yourself good if you have blonde or brownish blonde hair to invest in a cherry red lipstick or stain to wear with a natural face for it adds a sexy touch that is undeniable when you look at it. Wear your new lipstick with a tan or without because it’s just as stunning either way! Also, you might add that shock of color in a pair of rain boots because there are so many out there right now that are of any price point and that make a statement with pattern or color. Wear your new rain boots with skirts or summer shorts, even the occasional summer dress and you make an Aries “I’m here” statement without much effort!

Taurus: Taurus, you of all signs need a hair cut this season. You tend to find a style that works for you and stick with it, but updating it a bit is a good idea this season. Bangs, for example, are very hip right now and I mean LONG bangs and not the usual bang. If you have long hair because you love the luxury of feeling it along your skin you can still wear the long bang and look lovely in it. It also hides flaws and is very sexy! Since you do love luxury but are casual about it you might try the new look of an embellished tank top, even a sequined tank under a utility jacket! A utility jacket is very sexy this season and when layered over something that is very glamorous and elegant like a tank that is embellished it brings the tank down to day wear or even casual evening wear and looks very “now.” Buy your new spring utility jacket in a soft, soft cotton that you can wash because you love soft against your skin and wear it with just about everything in your closet for a pulled together look!

You also might like the new maxi dresses that are out with a fitted top and a long, not too billowing skirt that make anyone look great in the spring when paired with a casual jacket. A lot of women are wearing these new maxi dresses in prints but I think that a print with only two colors is the easiest to wear and for you, who look great as natural as can be, two colors are enough in any spring print to bring out your natural beauty. Find one that you can wear with your flip flops and throw it on no matter where you are going and look well dressed and well within the trends of the season. I expect the maxi dress in the spring will last into other seasons and you are one that likes to invest in your wardrobe and not spend on something you are likely to wear only once or twice and have it go “out of style.”

Not one to waste money, think of adding about four or five pieces to your existing wardrobe to update it and make it spring/summer ready. Embellishment is something I love on a Taurus because there are so many T’s and tanks that have it now that it is almost a no-brainer to find one that looks great on you and shows that leaning you have for the opulent without going over budget and without going overboard with your look. Since you are a Taurus never buy anything that doesn’t fit perfectly and feel right on. You want quality fabric and arm holes that fit well and don’t pull. Make sure your tops are fitting exactly on top or don’t settle! The less a Taurus wears the better because it flatters their “no-nonsense” approach to dressing themselves and it is part of their charm to do things simply but with great class and ease. Ease is your keyword as well when you are shopping for spring and summer. The last thing I might suggest for you is if you have long hair you are a great candidate for the braid. By the braid I mean the latest use of a braid which is one large braid to the side or a braid through your bangs to the side in the front of your face. Experiment! It’s a natural look and still have a touch of luxury to it.

Gemini: Gemini, you should try to find yourself a pair of white jeans or pants to go with just about any color you choose to wear this season since you love color and white just looks fresh now in pants of any kind. Don’t worry about them getting dirty, just make sure you can throw them in your washer and wash them up quick as can be with the rest of your whites. White pants can go classic when worn with navy, for example, or red, and can go ethnic when worn with ethnic print tops or even try them with the boho tops that abound out there when you are shopping around. In the spring a pair of white pants do a Gemini proud because you can carry off any character you choose depending on what you pair with them! You might try mixing prints this season and it’s easier than you think. All you have to do is choose prints from the same color family and use a small print with very small pattern on the bottom and a slightly larger print on top. If the print is larger than your fist it is too big but there are all sorts of prints out there, maybe even in your closet, that will work for this look which is interesting and very intellectual when you think about it because you HAVE to think about it to pull it off! If you dare try this look I promise you that you will love it and do it over and over again!

Bright swatches of makeup are very rippin’ right now and you might try them on your interesting eyes. Making up your eyes is a good idea because you get into conversations which cause people to watch your eyes and you can wear these bright colors on your eyes because you are so expressive. You want to go with two colors on your eyes this season, two bright colors. You don’t have to color your entire lid, in fact it might be “you” to use one bright color to line your upper eye and another to smooth over your top lid, but not your entire top lid just the bottom portion of it. This style looks new and interesting without being very hard to pull off and time consuming. You can get these colors from companies like Urban Decay, Nars or MAC and with MAC you can use water to apply the color and even use water and use the shadow as a bright liner like discussed above. it might behoove you to invest in some eye color so you can keep you eyes interesting, again, because people tend to look at you when you are doing what you do best: communicating!

Gemini, when you are shopping, remember that when you find a T or a tank or a top that you love you should buy it in more than one color. You never know what you will want to wear when it comes to color each morning so it’s great to have a top that will fit your plans each day and having more than one choice is a great idea if the fit is good. Stay with close-fitting tops when you wear loose on the bottom in the way of things like skirts, and you should have a look that takes you through the season. If you wear flip flops or easy shoes you might like colored shoes too and remember to buy in more than one color if you love the design in this case as well. Embellished thongs look great on your Gemini feet and bright toenail color.
