Making the Most of the Saturn / Pluto / Jupiter / Uranus T-Square of 2010

April 13th, 2010 @ 11:07 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

uranusThe other day I mentioned, “mix and match” in regards to the Saturn / Pluto / Jupiter Uranus t-square. Having no idea who reads here, I am not sure how many could parse my meaning so I back to spell it out at least once in real life terms.

Keep in mind this is only one example of how these planets might be combined when there are literally endless manifestations and that fact right there is a manifestation itself in that there are limits around what I can say (Saturn in Virgo) about the real power (Pluto in Capricorn) and my vision (Jupiter) or astrology (Uranus).

In whatever case, I am acutely aware of having to manage (Capricorn) my resources (Pluto) right now. It is so hard for people to realize I am only one. I really am only one person, I am not a conglomerate.

If I do not write the forecasts, there are no forecasts. If I do not have conversations with my friends or a relationship with my son or with my husband, I will not be enriched and fed by their energy and able to produce what you read on this blog. If I do not do consultations, there will be no money to pay for anything and if I don’t maintain the Astro Dispatch, many will be disappointed.

Of course I have to clean my house, go shopping for groceries, take my kid places, maintain my car, see the doctor, fix my computer, beg for money, answer emails, etc. I also have to sleep.

I am not complaining about anything here. I am defining some of the demands on my energy to illustrate the need to control (Capricorn) where it goes. I am thinking about this now (Saturn in Virgo) and it will manifest in my interactions with others when Saturn goes into Libra and here is the Jupiter Uranus end…

The Jupiter Uranus conjunction in Pisces offers the ability to imagine (Pisces) your future (Uranus). To envision (Jupiter) it and when you put this all together it comes out something like this:

How can I manage my resources so I can manifest my vision in reality? Keep in mind, when I say “resources” I mean your depth as much as anything else.

Here are some questions to ask yourself:

What should I amputate?
What should I invest more in?
Where should I focus my effort?
Who can I rely on?
What can I offer other people?

Where do you want to be / what do you want your life to look like in 5 years?

This is so brilliantly stated. You have a real way of taking something complicated and condensing it perfectly…short and sweet. This Jup, Sat, Uranus, Pluto stuff is really killing me…badly. Im trying to get my ducks in a row…to make my future goals manifest, but its been one stumbling block after another, life is hard (Saturn)…UGH.

Maybe once Mars leaves my 12th house in early June, the gates will open for me…I think my energy is all locked up there right now..if feel imprisoned and frustrated. Plus that is right around the time of the Jup./Uranus conjunction…square my jupiter :0 …fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Post :)

It is always a good time to ask these questions Elsa; especially for an astrologer. This work we do is very time-consuming, and can tax the energy of those who are not as strong, so you’ve been doing very good. Just pace yourself and use the antidotes for any of the planetary transits to keep that balance in your life.

The big transpersonal transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are going forcing many millions of people to adjust to the changing times.

There are no shortcuts with transpersonal planets, as we know. Their transits are long-lasting, and make certain that their inclinations are felt, and must be faced.

So, anyone looking for quick answers to problems will have trouble finding them these days (and for some time to come) unless time is spent addressing the more profound matters of life, including those of the spirit, and what is really important in your life.

Saturn’s last transit through Virgo that has just started is an excellent time to go over those things that are outworn, to bring these things to a close, and prepare for Saturn’s coming transit in Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius over the next 7.5 years.

Much is about to change in the lives of so many people, but those who are knowledgeable about the global transits, and their own nativities, and who are willing and able to make a go for a new era will do the best in the decade just ahead.

Keep up the good work Elsa!

Thank you Elsa- I agree with krisy- excellent post! Although I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by this T-Square, there’s not that feeling of ‘dread’ I keep reading that others are experiencing. I seem to be in a state of exploration, information gathering, taking stock of my internal growth- all with my sights on the horizon, so that when Uranus/Jupiter moves into Pisces, I will not miss that vision of my future and be ready to go for it!

These questions/thoughts are so rich, I have to come back to this post (and the one before) after I’m rested and fed — They demand that the reader STOP.

Thank you, Elsa. It’s really generous of you to put this up on the blog. The way you’ve synthesized this is fantastic because it gives us a concrete place to start the analysis / application to ourselves. Really, really helpful. I’ve got it flagged to use and go over after the little one’s down and I can give it my full attention.

Totally get the message that we should just face it and do the work. And I am all for it, so thanks!

Five years is too far ahead a time for me to think about though ;) . Besides, anything can happen between now and then. All I can do is my best.

I know what I *don’t* want in my life 5 years from now. Is that OK?

This is really wonderful, Elsa….thank you! In looking at my outline of the answers to those questions, it looks like I will be letting go of control issues, ie…being mother and wife in my own eyes and becoming more independent as far as my own self-worth is concerned. Learning a new skill, being more creative and investing more time in myself.
I am sure this sounds so cliche, but it is really true. I have spent a large part of my life taking care of others and have not done a whole lot for myself as far as growing into my “real” self. I think this will be a time when I let go and actually do something to really help and be of true service to others. Pick up on more virgo traits and maybe be financially rewarded for it.
I don’t know….I just hope I go down the right path. It is kinda scary and not as easy as it appears. I have been reading more on the North Node Virgo…..

Thank you for this posting. I have printed it out and pasted it in my journal so that I can sit with your excellent questions and write my way to an answer…maybe (that’s my Neptune/Moon in Scorpio conjunction talking!). With Pluto on my A**cendant, exactly, I have been working my a** off and, as you wrote, there is only so much energy to go around and I’m wondering if the energy I am currently expending is really going in the optimal directions. Definitely gotta think on this…thank you for giving me some tools to help cut thru the fog.

i want to go off and build a home with my love (pluto in cap, 5th + jupiter in pisces, 7th) but i’ve got to work hard at my job to get the long run happiness i envision (saturn in 1st). lots of crazy people and changing situations around me (uranus in pisces, 7th). these aren’t the real houses but they’re based on my sun sign, like newspaper horoscopes and they work pretty well. maybe better than the ones based on my real ascendant…
