The very smooth leading man, Jude Law is a Capricorn Sun and Jupiter in the first house. He has a stellium in Sagittarius that guides him in many ways spanning the 12th house. He has studied ballet and saxophone and his parents are acting teachers. Again, when there is Capricorn prominent in a performer’s chart we often see them working in the field as children. Jude is no exception, getting his start in musical theater as a child. His first roles were in theater and to this day he performs on the stage. Mercury, Venus, Rising and Neptune are all in Sagittarius and in his 11th house we have the very strong placement of Mars in Scorpio giving Jude strong sexual appeal and an understanding of sexuality he uses on the screen and stage. Jude has Moon, Uranus and Pluto in Libra making him the “lover,” on screen anytime he chooses to play the role. His chart is lined up in a bowl pattern, a locomotive, if you will. All the way on the other side of the wheel, Jude has the lone Saturn in Gemini giving him some balance for all that Sagittarius and the ability to communicate so long as he gives it the effort. With Saturn in Gemini he would read scripts with care and take those, hopefully, that would show him in his best light and bring him to his next goal in his career. Being a Capricorn, Jude’s career is very important to him but he has shown his interest in others and has worked in England, France and the U.S. due to the large Sag stellium affecting him at all times. One would need to get a bit of control over all that Sagittarius and Jude seems to be maturing into a great actor as he moves along in his life. Some accidents in leading his life and in his career choices are expected and Jude has had a few of those. Still he is a hard worker and with more and more understanding of himself, (Mars/Scorpio,) he becomes more productive.

Capricorn with Sagittarius cannot help but be involved in both politics and charity work and Jude piles the work on in these areas. He would also be an achiever and he has won and been nominated for many awards both here in the U.S. as well as in France and England. Jude was nominated for “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” for an Academy Award. Jude does a large amount of charity work and some of his charities are to aid those with AIDS and he is active in UNICEF. Jude is active in many more charities and this is no surprise when we see how many planets he has in Sagittarius giving him a very generous nature. Politically he is very active in regard to world peace and we often find a Capricorn with some amount of fame getting involved in politics in some way. With all the Jude does in politics and charities he is busy as he can be given that his career is as a performer.

Jude’s style is smooth and that is keeping with the idea of a Cappy “leading man.” He studied ballet which gives him a smooth screen presence and he takes roles that show him off as a “smooth,” character rather than a rough one. His acting uses nuance as well as the physical given the Saggy placements in his chart. He is 6’1″ and this, along with his early training, gives him a stage and screen presence that is both strong and appears intelligent. Not an action actor, Jude takes scripts that are classic or romantic most of the time. He would suit a romantic mystery role as well with his Mars in Scorpio. Many of Jude’s roles have a sexuality to them and this suits his Mars as well as his adventuresome Sagittarius. Again, reading a script and being able to choose the right one is a talent and I would say that Jude has that ability with Saturn in Gemini and Venus in Sag. along with Mercury. Having the Moon in Libra makes Jude a romantic figure and his Midheaven is Libra as well. With all the Libra in his chart we can assume this is why Jude has already had children and a long relationship with one woman and is rekindling his relationship with Sienna Miller. Jude must take his relationships very seriously and would also take on a romantic role with great understanding of the character and the way the character works and thinks.

Jude’s personal style is very much like his performance style. As a Cappy he is a classic dresser even to the point of sometimes appearing on the red carpet in a tux with satin lapels and stripes down the legs of the pant. He chooses long and tailored jackets to show off his trim body and rarely reaches too far out of the box when appearing at any event. He is usually dressed respectfully, (Capricorn,) but in his personal life we can find many pictures of Jude shirtless, (Mars/Scorpio,) even though they are in good taste. Jude appears to work out, (Sagittarius,) and take care of his body. He would see staying in shape part of his job, (Cappy,) and knowing his best roles are those that are leads he would see dressing well as part of his career. Jude looks great in a suit, or a shirt and tie and this is due to his placements in Libra giving him a certain talent for wearing clothing and knowing what shows him in his best light. A Capricorn with Moon, Uranus and Pluto in Libra would love wearing suits and button down shirts and Jude is very often photographed in just that. With all that Libra it’s no surprise that we never really see much of Jude with his hair out of wack or his beard unshaven and we more often see him in head shots with his hair done just so and his skin well taken care of. Jude is, again, the “leading man,” in his chart and I expect we will see more of these roles for Jude.

We will also see him continue his charity work and political interest because as a Capricorn with much Sagittarius in his chart, Jude will remain interested in other people with different cultures and in leadership when it comes to others. A trained actor for the stage, I believe we will continue to see Jude do stage work as he builds his career further.
