Mars goes direct tomorrow morning in nice aspect to Saturn, Venus and Uranus. I advised people who read my newsletter to not start a fight with Mars retrograde and have not seen one person launch one successful attack anywhere in the world during this period but now options open up.
If you’ve been holding back, systems are “go” now but no rush on this. Some astrologers advocate waiting until for a planet to completely leave it’s “shadow” but I am less concerned with that, especially when it comes to Mars which thrives via overt expression.
I say go slow due the aspect with Saturn which is supportive and should be incorporated for maximum benefit.
Personally, I am going to start (Mars) a long trek (Saturn) that I hope will liberate me (Uranus) financially (Venus) in the long term. If you can come up with something like this it would be very favored at this time.
The upshot here is, go ahead and shoot but take careful aim, mind the rules, play fair and “freedom” ought to factor here somewhere.

Yes. This is exactly the post I needed to read. I have been in a sense biding my time with some issues, not feeling ready to move forward. I think it’s going to be time to tackle some lingering relationship issues, hopefully liberating me from — at the least — worry.
Also, Elsa, not sure it’s your cup of tea, but this month’s Wired magazine cover story is about money wanting to be free — how little upstarts and visionaries are working to liberate our currency and transactions from the shackles of big-banks/credit cards. Seems a little appropriate for the transit.
oh thank god! i am SO freakin’ ready. mars rx has kicked my ass and i wasn’t even expecting anything more traumatic than bad hair for gosh-sakes.

I’m not so much concerned about Mars’ direct station in Leo, but with its coming transit in Virgo and Libra.
Mars enters Virgo in June, transits there in July, and enters Libra at the end of that month towards its conjunction with Saturn in Libra in early August as part of the Cardinal T-square.
Mars’ synodic cycle reflects the year 1931, which was also a year of the cardinal cross between Saturn/Uranus/Pluto. So, this particular 79-year synodic cycle plays into the general global scheme of things relating to the economic crisis.
Mars Rx was good for people to recharge their batteries, and the cycle from March 10 through to early June has good enough transits to apply towards progress.
However, once Mars enters Virgo, and transits there into July, the summer’s atmosphere is tense, and this plays into the cardinal crisis transits of July, August, and a bit into September.
I saw a man with a nazi party shirt on tonight and your post stopped me from completely losing my mind. Some may call me a coward for saying nothing to this man/stranger but all I can say is the threat of violence is very real and the underbelly of society is very scary indeed

Yes. I have big plans with a career move, that is an investment in accomplishing a specific project this summer. It involves a large community (all of these transits in Pisces are in my 11th house) and it involves communications/sports as Mars slooooooowly steams back up in my 3rd house, towards my natal Mars…I am chomping at the bit.

This whole rx has been going down in my 6th, so I am hoping I don’t punch (Mars) one of the idiot women (Venus) at my work (Saturn) out of the blue (Uranus) tomorrow. I am thisclose. 
Can I just say… Thank EFFING GOD that Mars Retrograde is ending! I can’t tell you how long I have been awaiting this! Now that it’s moving forward, I’m prepared (Saturn) to pursue (Mars) what I like (Venus) and disregard the people that don’t like it (Uranus).
my husband has a phone interview tomorrow, I’m so hoping this leads to somewhere. We are both so ready to move.

Unfortunately, my Lunar return chart still got a retrograde Mars. But now that Mars is going direct, it’ll soon form a sextile to my Sun. The first sextile a couple of months ago was awesome.
Oh, also realized that Mars is now exactly squaring my Uranus/Venus. Interestingly, I’ve never felt this fine about my personal life. But I do see this affecting my social interaction in general, I’ve been uncharacteristically assertive. With Mars going direct I may actually even start a fight.
I have a question. First of all, yes, dear Lord, yes, I have been feeling this retro. And not picking or responding to fights picked with me *kudos*
I am a 0 degrees Aries, and for a long time I have been feeling that the upcoming aspects on my birthday would resolve? illumine? a lot of the issues I have been thinking about, plotting about, during this retro period.
Then I found out that my best friend who’s birthday is 5 days after mine and she has planned a party (that I am invited to) on My birthday. This feels so wrong, and like stealing. I don’t know what my question is, but can someone steal your astrological revelation? I think n, because everything is individual, and if it’s mine it’s mine- but I feel so weakened from this Mars retro,no MArs sparklies at all- but I had just started to perk up when I got her invite…. and I was so anticipating something special-that will rock my world for years to come…. and this feels so wrong and dis-integrated. Am I living this right? Do I fight her? Put my foot down and tell her how selfish I think she is being? ( She won’t get it-Toro rising) A she’s stubborn, B She thinks everything should happen at her house always, C she is just never open to new ways of thinking, that not necc a Toro, I just had to say it.

I can see how this upsets you. Try this – first, talk to your friend, but also realize that this may be a “surprise” party for you.
Now, if it happens that it is not, then enjoy the party, and your birthday, without giving in to the emotions of feeling as if your best friend is doing something against you.
Do not buy into the first impulse you feel – especially under these global transits, and those to come that will touch upon the 0-Aries point.
Relax your mind, and trust the universe.
Hot damn. I got through the day without punching anyone, and I found out that our department is expanding down the hall and I’m getting a real office – will finally be free, yes, free of the henhouse with those bok-bok-bokking chickens I work with all day. It won’t be an immediate fix, but at least there is movement on that front and it will surely save my sanity once that blessed day comes. Also, those girls who don’t do their work and talk all day about nothing? They’re getting a new supervisor. And from what I hear, she doesn’t put up with that kind of crap. I could just bake a cake or something, I’m so damn happy.

It isn’t likely to be a surprise party for me, as it is all her friends that are invited. But she is likely doing something nice in the best way she can.
I am going to try to go with the flow a bit more, but honestly it is hard to trust the universe.
You know, rereading my post, it could have been written by someone much younger than I- I guess we go through this stuff at any age- I don’t know why there feels like so much weight is on it…
And congrats, Del. That sounds like a great bunch of resolutions to things needing sorting. And I hate the whole henhouse thing too- so I can appreciate your glee!
This is fantastic! I just now discovered that Mars turned direct last week which is probably why I was finally able to begin process my school application.
My main goal is to start working towards changing (Uranus) my career… slowly… as the semester does not begin until January 2011. It will be a very drastic change (from a creative/commercial profession to a helping profession). There will definitely be a LOT of saving for tuition next year.
