Spring is around the corner and there are plenty of new ideas off the runway that have been knocked off at every price point that might suit your chart ruler, or your Venus or even if you dress for your Sun sign!

Aries:

I know you love your yoga pants and tight jeans but the fact is that baggie is in when it comes to pants. Less and less do we see a new pair of tight jeans and we are seeing wide legged jeans and baggie topped jeans in their place! There is an alternative, however, and that is that there are plenty of looks taken from sport and they Olympics that may suit you up! Many clothing designers dressed up the fashion from sport to include tops, pants, dresses, etc.. that are modeled on actual athletic wear but made for street wear. These new looks have lines in all the right places to show off your figure while still maintaining a difference when it comes to the old yoga pant reality. Not that you need to stay close to the body with your clothing because there is a freedom that comes from deciding not to wear everything skin tight and trying the new look of freeing the body. I, who has Aries in her chart, am planning on indulging in this trend and embracing it. Yes, for some there will be no parting with their tights or leggings or yoga pants but for those who choose to move forward there are some choices that are more roomy but flattering even to the smallest figure. Make up stays natural for this look although there are new looks in make up for those who dress in a different style than “ready for the game.”

And to your spring make up look try blotting papers in your bag for blotting your face and taking the shine out when it gets warmer and you tend to go, go, go without make up touch ups! There are many new blotting papers out in all sorts of make up lines with some even leaving a bit of gold on the skin to work with a tan. Remember to tan safely and uses spray on tanning or a lotion that lets you build a tan a day at a time!

Taurus:

Ever try a loose, loose weave sweater in the spring? They can be lovely in over-sized loose weave of colors of flowers. You can find sweaters that hang off your shoulders by straps but are actual sweaters and it is a sexy look that is comfy, which you love! Nothing says “put together,” like a jacket and in the spring we should think about light weight jackets, or even one that says “this is me.” It should be in the new military style and made of the softest cotton you can afford. Use this jacket to throw over everything you wore last season to make it new and trendy but a trend that lasts. I don’t like trends that go away and the military look has been around a long, long time but it’s in in spades this spring. Light weight jackets in all sorts of military styles are available and I love the ones that tie at the waist or those that you leave open over a T. Get yourself a soft, soft T. and wear your jacket over it and you have a look! Scarves on your neck are a good way to feel safe and the scarf is back with a vengeance! There are so many ways to tie you light weight scarf that you can never get tired of using them instead of jewelry. Just make sure you buy cotton scarves or lightweight scarves that are a bit neutral in color so they go with everything you already have. Take a page from the international look and use your scarf with a summer hat if you can stand it because covering your wonderful Taurus skin is important in these days of searing heat!

A new idea for you in jewelry is to take advantage of how great you look in heavy and natural necklaces made of natural ingredients. Think chunky and try coral on tanned skin, etc… A Taurus looks lovely in chunky jewelry!

Gemini:

Prints, prints and prints with prints are what is happening for some this season. Some designers put prints head to toe that did not match but had a common color. This is a style you can adopt with clothing you already have if you try to find like colors in your prints and put them together. It’s a perfect interesting Gemini look to wear prints and it takes some thinking on your part and you are nothing if not about thinking. Make up this spring has come on strong too with strong lips leading the way. A strong pink is most popular with a tamed down eye and very little blush. Get your fake tan on and put a strong pink on your lips and your face is ready to go! Leave your hair a bit messy because messy is in and get the look by using product which you Gemini’s mix with ease and apply with your nimble fingers with great skill! I never met a Gemini who didn’t know how to use hair product and “done,” hair is so outdated now as is straight hair. Just woke up hair is in as is beach hair and hair that is toned with lowlights instead of highlights.

This spring consider working with stripes! A Gemini looks fresh in striped T’s and shirts even if mixing them with flowers! Think outside the box for spring and use your curious mind in your closet to put new things together or to add a piece here and there to make things fresh for you. Don’t forget to clean out your spring wardrobe and take stock before adding pieces… A Gemini can end up collecting a ton of things that just might work in other ways if tried!
