Neptune Overload For Elsa P

Astrology in real life

Last night a pal who reads the blog called and told me her impression of my recent writing. I was shocked.  Her impression of my output was 180 degrees from reality as to how I feel right now.

Today the disparity is even greater and I realized transiting Neptune is hitting my chart hard, never mind all the Pisces which also has my entire chart engaged.

And then someone dreams reality last night but I can almost guarantee people who look at this blog and think they see reality are seeing a dream.

I often think I can see the Emperor naked but acknowledge I don’t necessarily know if I am clothed myself and if so, I wonder what I am wearing.

Last night I was informed and I am still sitting here, confused.

Oddly enough the most difficult transit of my entire life was a Neptune transit.  No one ever tells you that, do they?

I’m pretty sure Neptune is my personal nemesis, that slippery bastard.

It’s hard to see any type of reality in the Neptunian world of the internet.

@Jilly: I watched the video and that watery world just pulled me in and I felt like I was in a dreaming world of watery reveries. Then the office phone rang dammit!..lol

Neptune is to me one of the most lethal planets. Water has incredible force. It can lift you up and smack you down before you even know what’s happening. I used to body surf and when you are unaware of how fast you will hit the beach it is a rude awakening. But when submersed it is a beautiful dream.

I totally hear what you’re saying about a Neptune transit being the most difficult. It really is a smoke and mirrors type of thing. One minute, you think you have a realistic perspective and everything is going well, and then you wake up the next day to find out it is completely something else. Hang in there! The fog will clear eventually I’m sure :)

Oh yes. I love my life as I’d known in with a Neptune squaring my Mars transit … two years, and no more life as I’d known it.

I got fired tonight and it was completely unexpected. It’s funny because all this Neptune/Pisces has been crammed into my 6th house and I kept thinking to myself, “Huh, shouldn’t something be happening with all this energy out there?” Absolutely out of the blue, or maybe I was just deluded.

Sorry to hear that Char.

Neptune is such a potent weapon when the native misuses it. I’ve spent a lot of time learning to neutralize its effects, as one of my family members is an expert at manipulating the energy.

And Elsa, I would also say that my most difficult transits are Neptune transits. My Capricorn energy gets very irritable when I’ve spent so much time building just to see the tide come in and go out and come in and suddenly– WTF? Where did my structure go? That was mine!

You did a reading for me about 3 years ago when Neptune hit my descendant… at the time I didn’t quite get what you meant but looking back I laugh. Maybe to keep from crying.

My husband got fired today…over something he didn’t do, but that the appearance of was apparently too much for the company. The weird thing was that I didn’t really even flinch. I knew when he was here this weekend the end was near. He was telling me the story of what this woman was saying and how she was twisting things and I knew it would not end well. He’s magnet for nutjobs and I’m usually one that will walk into his work and point out the dangerous ones, and he said, “I thought when I hired her that you wouldn’t like her.” Some people never learn.

It’s very hard to talk to clients about Neptune when they don’t know astrology and not sound like a total kook. I think I have gotten better at it due much practice but there are still times when a person is just so awash…

However it is no harder than looking a person due to have their large stellium(s) in Cancer and Cap transited by Saturn and having to communicate that. Especially when they are young!

Anyway you turn it, this is not an easy job but one I think is important and worth making my best effort.

It is particularly hard now (and getting harder) as people feeling the despair I mentioned and in come cases they are contemplating suicide. If you are their contact, you had better get it right and I don’t know what to say besides I try.

I mean, if I get it wrong, I live with that so…

I do know that one astrologer who quit consulting in this climate. I understand that but my intention is to stick.

I agree with Jilly, (((everybody)))

I have Neptune transit (conjunction) on my sun and my Pisces stellium being transited (also conjunction) by Uranus and I have NO idea where I’m going or where I am right now… I have a lot of Pisces but I still can’t figure out Neptune and its energy. I understand Saturn and Pluto because I find their energy most bluntly demonstrated but Neptune is all so…. unclear!! Sorry I can’t seem to find a better word!

Did i survived my Neptune square Neptune ? How can i know ? the aftermath-awakening is soooo intense.

The question that comes to me is, who owns me? who rules my life?

I am still under shock :) empty, and i thank god for Saturn´s clock grounding and focusing me.

Neptune has a way of immersing us so much that we are too busy trying to just swim, to say much more. Sending love and (((hugs to anyone who’s feeling a bit lost or struggling to keep swimming))).

The worst transits of my life were due to the fog machine. It squared Mercury and Venus when I was a kid, and Sun/Mars as an adult. All of them triggered my OCD, the last one sending me into a terrible downward spiral. Fortunately, I have a healthy dose of Earth in my chart and that Saturn/Pluto trine in Earth to ground me.

currently Neptune is square my ASC (has for quite a long time lately). I’m looking forward to its ingress (is that the word) into my 3rd House where it is going to be unaspected for a looooooooong time (minus one sextile to Progressed Mercury).

Neptune transits have also been the hardest transits for me and as I sit here transit Neptune is less than 24 minutes away from my sun.

When I saw this one coming I panicked and started reading every book I could find on Neptune (love Bil Tierney).

Most people associate depression with Saturn but I find that Neptune is the real depressor in my chart in my experience. Of course, I have a Saturn-Neptune opposition (which squares Mercury in Pisces) so maybe there is no getting away from Saturn for me…

When Neptune opposed my moon and then conjoined natal Venus it was some of the darkest times I have ever had.

This time around things are going pretty well, though I did dip my toe in the waters of depression when all these planets moved into Pisces, but I’m better now.

I had my first reading from Elsa yesterday, (which was AWESOME of course;-) One of the first thing she communicated was how Neptune overwhelmed my chart…which is something I have been learning more and more about as I learn more about Astrology. I have to admit it explains quite a few rather annoying and very difficult things I’ve come to know about myself, however there’s no owners manual. Elsa recommended a book, so I’m working on getting it, but of course my impatience to “fix” my issues took over and I spent most of the last 24 hours searching online for more insights into how I could counter-act my self-undoing.
I have to be honest…..I didn’t really find much that went deeper or further than what already seems obvious (to me anyway). Understanding Neptune seems like an oxy-moron to me, probably because I’m knee-deep in it. I have some pretty intensely “different” thoughts and ideas most of the time, that I’ve learned to keep to myself, as well as some interesting psychic abilities.
I have a couple of transits right now but I don’t think I can even FEEL them because Neptune is ALWAYS influencing my life in some way.
Anyway, here’s the one article I found that I did resonate with:
