I wrote about Annalisa and I when we were kids, Low People In High Places, a reference to our twin Capricorn. risings, just a degree apart. I don’t why I thought of this today but I did. Maybe it’s because it’s her birthday but I thought of this song, we used to dance to it when we were kids, pre-teen.
We were starving then, eating paper to fill up our stomachs but our mother had a record player and she had this album and we’d hear this over and over and sing and dance around the house, swingin’ our hair, high on the music.
Annalisa and I both have Jupiter-flavored Moons and we are never going down. I don’t know why people bother to try to take us there, it’s just not possible. You go down, jackass, we’re going to dance!

The image gave me a big smile, but also teary-eyed at the thought of your situation. I can’t stand the idea of kids going hungry (11th house Venus in Cancer — feedin’ kids is what I do), I wish I could take it back from every child that goes through that. But you can keep your dancing. You go, girl !
I have a Sagittarius Sun, moon, rising mother. I grew up on great music. Steely Dan will forever remind me of her.
may you and your sister never have to eat paper again..that sentence hit me in the heart with shame that any child would have to eat paper to have something in her tummy.
Ah one of my all time favourite tracks, too, thanks for the reminder. Neil Diamond’s Cracklin Rosie energised me through some tough times in my teens.
Just had my three little grandchildren here today.. feeding them is my privilege my delight, and their easy happiness and well fed contentment so joyful.. Jupiter conjunct Moon in Aries.. thanks cosmos..

My mom used to play Neil Diamond also. Last year me and my daughter got into listening to his music. My daughters bus driver was listening to this and asked if anyone knew who the artist was. My daughter of course spoke up and he was shocked,lol. Love his voice. There are certain songs that just take me back and take me over, emotionally.
