The very graceful Academy Award winner, Catherine Zeta Jones is a Sun sign Libra. Not surprisingly, she has a Pisces Moon. Catherine also has a Sagittarius rising which could have a lot to do with her interest in making her home outside of her native South Wales with a man who is EXACTLY 25 years her senior. Being a Sag rising would make Catherine interested in life outside her home culture and also give her interest in someone who is from another generation. Being a Libra, marriage would appeal to her and being married to “Hollywood royalty,” would have the glamour she loves as well as enough “other worldly,” appeal for her Pisces Moon. We can assume that with her stellium of Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus in Libra in the 9th house would cause Catherine to reach out very far when finding her mate and that she would live very closely with that mate when she did find one! Some of her excitement might be attributed to living though or with others with the Sag/Libra mix.

Whenever I find Sag or Capricorn in a chart I usually find that a celeb has been in the business since childhood and Catherine is no exception. Not only does she have a Sag rising, her Mars is in Capricorn. Catherine went to a performing arts high school for three years in Europe and began her career in musicals at the young age of 10. She started her work in musicals and is also a trained singer who has released some tracks early in her career. It is no shock then to see that she performed so well in “Chicago,” and wanted to make sure that her wig was just right so people would know she was doing her own dancing in that role. The stage was her start and the stage is her first love. The family feeling and the traveling that comes with a stage career must have appealed to Catherine when she was young and that is where she started.

Catherine has an earthy quality that shows through in what she does and she has Venus in Virgo and Mars in Capricorn. There is a very studied way in which Catherine chooses her roles if one looks over her career and she is practical as well in choosing roles that she is starring with known names in films where she can shine in who she is. She plays the “lady,” very well in roles she has taken and that is where she can use her natural traits. She is fond of “romantic leads,” and that would appeal to a Libra stellium. She has a natural style in her fashion as well when we see that she keeps her brunette hair color.

When we look at Catherine from a fashion point of view we see one very certain Libra! Catherine keeps her hair long and lush in her natural brown which suits her eyes very well. She is careful to match her hair to her eyes and keep things “just so,” in her make up and presentation. Not one to take chances in fashion because of her practical side and lady like manner, Catherine always appears dressed for the occasion even if she did once appear on a “worst dressed list!” Catherine either wears her hair in a very classic “updo,” or flowing down in curls in the tried and true way of long hair styles. Not one for too many highlights or lowlights, she keeps it real but polished as a Libra with placements in Virgo and Capricorn will do. She has a stellium, as I have said previously, in Libra so she would always take the natural, polished way before she would take chances in fashion.

With her coloring she can wear any color and does but she also can wear black and not look hard since she has dark hair and she often wears black to red carpet events. She has even been known to match her husband, Michael Douglas by wearing a black satin dress to his black satin lapels! She takes her personal life very seriously and has two children with Michael. She started her family with Michael early in their marriage and this would be important to her, in fact, one could argue that she would take her relationship with her husband to be as important as her career given her chart. She most often appears with her husband when going to events and they present a united front more often than not. Still Catherine appears the “dreamy princess,” in all shades of hue, perfectly applied make up and camera ready at all costs. Her Pisces rising would give her a love of all things Venus when combined with her Libra influences and she does present the “princess,” very often. In the very few photos where Catherine wears very little and has the sexual poses going she somehow appears a bit awkward in my own opinion. It would not come easy for her to show a lot of skin and bare it all and she does not often attempt this. Most often, Catherine takes the “pretty,” picture and she does this with great skill. In the roles she plays she appears the “pretty,” one and she excels at this. One can imagine Catherine at any time appearing “just so.”
