At first glance, Lucy Liu appears to be her Sun Sagittarius. She is open and free with her body and adventurous regarding showing it. Many of her roles are athletic in nature and she has a personal life that includes athletics such as rock climbing, martial arts and skiing. Lucy is comfortable in her skin and shows skin regularly in roles she has chosen. She is interested in other cultures and donates her time to UNICEF in a generous, Sag, sort of way. Her Venus is in Capricorn and that often causes a person to take strong stands when it comes to integrity.

Lucy is often seen to be dressed well and is a “dress girl.” She is not afraid of the rufflely styles and the flirty looks that are out there and always presents dressed well on the red carpet and in her personal life. This is due, I believe, to her stellum in Libra. Lucy also gives the impression of being a lady even when she is doing swimwear or appearing in almost nothing and this is due to her Libra planets which include Jupiter, Uranus, North Node and Mars! She is driven to portray to the public a well dresses woman and she does just that with flair. Lucy is a very pretty woman and dresses herself in a “pretty,” way instead of what one might expect from a sporty Sag. There is the exception in the numerous photos of Lucy in a bathing suit but those shots are done in a sporty style in most cases. We must remember her Capricorn Venus will rein in any wild child feelings when it comes to presentation.

Lucy is true to her Asian heritage although she was born in the US. Her parents are from Taiwan. A Saggie is always interested in other cultures and Lucy speaks Mandarin. She has a degree in Asian languages and culture, staying true to her Sagittarius Sun being committed to higher education and her Cappy Venus which adores history. She is also an active person which can be put off to her Sun. She stays in great shape and is not afraid of action roles in movies. Still, there is a lady in Lucy that we cannot dismiss and with all those planets in Libra we can expect that.

Lucy’s Venus is in Capricorn and Cappy’s stay true to their roots as well. With her Cappy Venus working with a Taurus Moon we have a woman who has strong ties to her place and the people of her origin.

Lucy has a great coloring and can wear many colors that her skin accents well. We see her dressed in all of these colors as well as black which can give her a classy look. As any Libra, she puts together outfits with color and probably does so with ease. A lot of shots of Lucy have her in black or white and this, I believe has to do with her Taurus Moon. Lucy favors black and white although her black and white choices are feminine and easy. I find that many women who have Libra prominent in their charts have mastered make up and many of Lucy’s publicity shots feature her face and Sag hair. Wearing her hair in long styles gives her the freedom long hair provides. With long hair one has more freedom to get into action and it also feeds her Taurus moon which would prefer natural at all costs. Long hair gives us the freedom of air-drying, putting it up, wearing a ponytail on busy days or high styling it for the red carpet. Her Taurus Moon would love long hair and she would want a wash and go style for her Saggie Sun. Often people think of the upkeep long hair requires but it is truly one of the easiest styles to work with when you think about it. I notice that a lot of Taurus actresses favor long hair, the horses mane, so to speak!

A Sagittarius outlook on life experiences is large and Lucy is no exception. Lucy is an active artist when it comes to collage, painting and photography. Her art is also a way for her to express her travels which she must put great importance on. Lucy has her hand in many areas of art and we could expect that from a Sag sun with Libra influencing that. I find that many who are interested in photography and painting have earth signs in their charts and are looking to connect with the earth when they work. She is proud of being Asian and does herself justice with regard to being a role model for other Asian young people who have similar ambitions.

I expect Lucy to stay busy with that Sagittarius Sun and all the art she needs to express with her Libra planets. Venus is in Capricorn and that means that Lucy will keep climbing that mountain and be a role model all her life!
