Astrology and Fashion: Celebs And Their Style: Scarlett Johansson by Annalisa
Astrology and fashion
Scarlett Johansson strikes us right away as a girl that is not afraid of her body when acting and in life. This falls in line with her Sun in Sag and her Moon in Scorpio. Usually, with these placements, we get a lot of wearing black, red and plenty of roles where the clothing is minimal. However, Scarlett has enough earth holding on to the reins giving us the lady inside of her on the outside and helping her make practical decisions regarding her career. Still, Scarlett has a lovely body and she does not make a secret of that but she does this in a ladylike way and with complete control, at least it appears so on the outside.
As with Sag and Scorp, we have a bit of inheritance in her chart regarding performing arts. There is a Grandfather who was a screen writer and director but more importantly and involving the Moon, we have a mother who was a film buff. Scarlett went to school at the Professional Children’s School in Manhattan and her mother started taking her to auditions at a young age. Her mother was a film buff and this is usually something we see when Scorpio is involved…that is, inheritance somewhere in the person’s career. Scarlett was tapped for performance young and we can assume managed from that young age to make decisions that were wise. This brings us to her Venus and Jupiter in the self controlled sign of Capricorn! Mars moves that forward by being placed in Aquarius. With Mars in Aquarius we can know that Scarlett has a forward thinking mind when it comes to what she does. What she loves, however, is controlled by Capricorn and it shows in her personal style.
Scarlett appears on red carpets in colored dresses and not as often in black. She has her taste in lady like colors and plays on her alabaster skin in this way. She stays light skinned and this allows her to wear pastels with ease while giving a black dress a more intense look about it next to her skin. When one is light skinned and does not maintain a tan it allows for some great color play against the skin and one needs very little make up to set off their features. Provided the skin is in good condition there is a lot that can be done with glitter and shimmer make up and Scarlett is no stranger to that style.
When caught in everyday life we see that Scarlett often wears the very Capricorn uniform of jeans, shirt, jacket and hat. This gives the wearer a look of being pulled together while not having to wear any sort of pant other than comfy jeans so long as they bypass the choice of a T shirt for a shirt that buttons down. Covering with a light jacket and having the fashion sense to pull off a hat makes Scarlett look very international and again, pulled together even in her off camera days. Scarlet, with a Cappy Venus would choose to look as if she is dressing for her next film or to look dressed even when she is not “dressed up.”
Her earth signs are working with her Sag sun when she chooses period pieces like “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” and “The Other Boleyn Girl.” These history based pieces have gotten the critics attention and fall in with her Sag Sun being interested in other times and other cultures. She should be at home in these roles that also pay tribute to the very proper society that prevailed in those historic times for her Capricorn Jupiter and Moon would enjoy being involved in historic pursuits in the way of her acting.
Fashion-wise, we can learn from how Scarlett shows off her light skin by wearing pastel colors and shimmering make up to highlight her face. The slightest color works wonders on very light skin and allows a person to appear accessible which any actor with a Sag sun would want. Using dark pieces in one’s wardrobe with Scarlett’s coloring should be minimum as should any harsh make up.

Great review - Scarlett is a fascinating one, with her mysterious smile and big, melon breasts!
I like this Capricorn jeans/jacket uniform you mention. You’re making me want to pick up some blazers at the thrift store and spiff up my jeans and plain tops. I always end up “growing out of” my jackets - time to replenish the supply!
Love her! Great job Annalisa!
Love these posts about fashion and celebs. Must have taken a lot of work to get the background info too. I find this post particularly interesting about Scarletts pale skin and how she complements it by the colours she wears (and doesn’t wear). Just shows how a diamond needs the right setting to really shine!
