Capricorn Moon Reality Check: Anyone Else Notice This?

I was talking to one of the regulars here, she mentioned the new people around here and how things have changed. I don’t actually think they’ve changed, it seems more of an illusion to me.
For example, over the weekend the soldier came home after being gone 27 days. Besides that I had a lot of work to do so due this my energy was turned away and off this blog.
When I take my energy off this blog, it does seem to morph. I can see and sense it myself but have what could probably be called no time or interest in doing anything about. Actually, I have no ability either since I’m preoccupied but I do notice it and think to myself that I’d best get back on the job as soon as I can.
When I do get back on the job, this blog snaps back to form in a day and I’ll tell you something. I think about abandoning this blog. It may actually become a necessity. I don’t mean take it down. It would still be here but it would run without me sort of like Linda Goodman’s forum.
I think this blog is large enough and popular enough it would sustain itself however I don’t think it would be what it is now. I actually have to show up and pitch the cards is what I am saying and I wonder if others notice this too.

Yes, indeed. driving force would be the key words. True in any business. They say you need a product and a marketing plan and legal advice etc. etc. It all means nothing without the driving force. Thank you t-squares. 
It’s almost palpable when you’re away, I feel it too, it’s like the teacher’s out of class. Okay for a short time, then we get restless : )
What makes this site interesting is the presiding genius.

Sitara, no you’re not creepy. I am glad to hear this actually. I have verbalized this behind the scenes, like to satori: “MY blog has gone to hell, I am going to have to get in there and start shredding something I guess. Shoot somethin’…”
I really am from the desert and we have saloons there, you know. It’s just not the same, nothing happenin’ without the jukebox going. Get that crazy back in here, would ya?
I hate to tell you guys this but…
But the day came when I quit my Frito Girl job and 4 years later my sister saw one of my ex-peers. “They are still trying to replace her,” he said.
I was stunned at the time but I have figured out by now that I am a unique person. How I could grow up the way I did and not know this?? Well, I was obviously busy thinking other things… like how to steal Henry’s truck and get to the store and get a Big Hunk for one. Something like that will take up the space in a 10 year old mind, I can tell ya.
Definitely notice the difference. I probably wouldn’t be here if you weren’t here. The boards wouldn’t keep me. They were an amazing addition and I’ve certainly participated- but it’s your writing, stories, points of view, life wisdom, humor, pictures everything that you share — that’s the reason.
Thank you moonpluto, I am sure you have a lot of company. This place would change as to be unrecognizable but this is why I harp all the time on supporting this blog. I have to be paid.
When I am not on this blog, my energy is going somewhere else (typically consultations) where I am paid. I HAVE TO BE PAID. I have bills so obviously my energy has to be spent making some kind of wage and there is a balance here.
This blog does get me business but anymore most my business comes via word of mouth so there has to be some kind of motivation and it’s not just monetary.
People like to feel their work is appreciated, I certainly do so when I invest here and it gets me beat on and crapped on, attacked and disrespected… well it’s not too hard to figure out what the end result is going to be. Not that I think this is where it is headed. I think it is NOT headed that way but the reason is because of posts and threads like this that increase people’s awareness.
Awhile back someone pulled some shit and satori— I like how she characterized the reaction of this community. “Anymore someone attacks you or anyone else and the people on the blog start to circle their wagons..”
You know. Like the old west, they form a protective circle. “They don’t want someone fucking up their community…”
I think she was right and I want to encourage this. There are lots of people around here very equipped to do this, it’s a matter of doing it. Take action! Take action on this, take action by using the Amazon link… these kinds of things matter and they don’t matter a little, they make all the difference in the world.
So to you and you and you… thanks.
I am amazed at how your energy has multiplied and multiplied.. I love the boards for this. We see it in each other and want to keep exchanging it because it heals. Having grown up with a large, close extended family (aquarius rules my 4th house).. I believe that we learn best the lessons we have to go through with love and in a community.. and we see it here. When i read how a capricorn here is experiencing pluto in capricorn it makes me more aware.. as well as absorb their energy. Just like I would for my capricorn uncles. But I have cancer and libra so i’m also here to react - to be part of the other cardinals that have to be factored in. In this way we all find our place and give and take helping us get through.
But we need the bartender to come in and help guide the action. A group needs it’s lead.
Heh today’s a mecury conjunct my neptune squaring my pisces jupiter day. Take it for what it is. 
*raises hand* definitely noticeable when you’re not around, and I miss you when you’re away.

Thanks, Sophie, really it is going okay. I am just telling you guys *exactly* how it is going as I realize it myself.
I know people value this blog, I value it myself. It’s just come to a point where I do have to
rely on the community to pitch in in various ways. Like the wagon thing. Jeez, it is a relief. I am trying to concentrate on dealing the cards - WELL. So if you see a fly, swat it. Y’all know what a fly is. I know you do.
People who come here should show me some respect. I have been here 10 years, I have earned this. They should show you some respect too and if they don’t then slap ‘em down.
This place is like Tombstone, maan. It may be the wild west but it’s settled and we keep it that way because we all know what these towns are like when chaos rules.
We are very lucky to have such a diverse group here. I am just going to keep it going for as long as I can. Thanks.

I’ll chime in and say I notice the difference when you’re not riding herd, and it’s H-U-G-E! Then you come back and it’s wiggly puppy time. 
I have noticed a different flavor in the past two or three months, though I don’t know if it’s the influx of new blood or just a plane shift in the energy pool.
“The care and feeding of your energy source.” Something I’ve always been aware of, but was never able to put into words quite so succinctly. I try to do my part. I get waaaay too much from you and the regulars here to not give back something as well.
I enjoy your blog but am a little confused– what changes is your regular referring to? And does he/she refer to changes on these threads or on the message boards?

Most definitely. You are the driving force here and it definitely changes shape a little when you aren’t here. I don’t think it’s a bad thing but I do notice and I’m always happy when you’re back.
I think it’s a bit like taking a train vs going off road. Without the engineer we tend to go off road a bit.
