Mars Square Venus While Saturn Squares Pluto…

Astrology in real life

I have been surrounded and seen nothing but jarring and jammed up situations for days.  “Demanding” is the word I’d choose.

I have seen the usually calm speak of murder. I know of a gal who wound up in jail UNDESERVEDLY so.  Clients these days are often in very difficult circumstances. They certainly don’t have time to wait or waste.

I have a friend giving up consulting over this. She sees she’s just not cut out for this kind of climate. I am cut out for it but meeting the demands means other things suffer and I guess this just reflects the new leaner times.

I mentioned in the comments on the New moon piece, the soldier and I became a “one car family” this weekend… completely unexpected. No, there was no wreck but it was a sudden change.

This morning I was driving him to his truck, we found out on the way he was going to work local and be home for a WEEK. This has never happened before so we’re happy but then came the jarring part.

First I will have to drop him off and pick him up each night regardless of the time (3 AM) but here’s the really bad part:

His boss, who we like a lot, put him on this assignment this morning. It was the last thing he did before there was some kind of event that required he go to the emergency room via ambulance.  We don’t know what is going on yet but you get the idea.

I am happy to say I am equipped to deal with this and with whatever comes next. I wish like hell I could write out all the things in my head. I miss it but lightning keeps striking.

Lightning (big and small) has been striking me non-stop within the last 12 hours. I’m all shaken up! Hang in there, Elsa! It’ll be other soon, right?

…I’m assuming that the truck your HB drove counted as a “second car”, which is now unavailable now that he is local?

Sounds about par for the course, at least from what I see. Thanks for these anecdotes Elsa. It’s really helpful to know it’s not “just me”.

Well, I feel these vibes all around me as well. Demanding times. And we will have to endure it for the whole length that Saturn squares Pluto. But, the good news is that it will be so much lighter the moment the sun enters Sag. At least I hope so..hehe..

No he had a little personal truck which he no longer has as of the weekend and he’s stunned. First he’s had the truck for more than 10 years, but also he’s not been without transportation since he was 17 years old! He was not intending to get rid of the truck but the universe conspired and long story short, he put it on craigslist and it sold in 2 minutes. Literally. He has more than 10 calls in less than 10 minutes, at which point I took the ad down.,

Huh. And things are going calmly for me here. Go figure.

Maybe it’s some kind of weird reverse energy because usually I am the walking chaos magnet. Other than creeps and bums trying to pick me up last week, it’s been situation tranquil here.

Then again, I do have to see my mother over the weekend…never mind :P

More whiplash. The soldier is and will be ‘around” but not necessarily able to come home. This situation is due Black Friday, by the way. He will be on of the cogs that makes merchandise available for people who want to crush each other to shop at Walmart on Friday. Damned interesting anyway.

Ha Ha. Jennifer. Funny.
Sorry for your stress Elsa.
I am OK too. I have to chair a big public meeting tonight so I hope I don’t get sideswiped. I have venus square mars natally as well as lots of pluto so this energy is kinda the way I live life usually.

Thanks, Togi but it is okay. Just put this on facebook:
“I am at the age where a person gets stupid if they don’t challenge their mind so I am glad I have a demanding job. You are at an age like that yourself, most likely. ::laughs::”

Interesting….today I took a friend of mine to work with me
….I had to go to another county and she happened to have a friend in that county that she hadn’t seen in a while so she came along with me.

I work as an interpreter and my job is in the courtroom. My friend was very excited to get to see what I do and was talking nonstop the whole way up there…1:45 hrs away. The courthouse was jammed on a Wednesday morning in this tiny little town….there were 278 on the docket for today. “How could there be that many criminals in this sleepy little town?”, asked my friend. I responded with, “times are tough all around”, “you get to see it splayed in a courtroom everyday now”.

I got my job done very quickly this morning…the judge was very alert to the fact that she had an interpreter and so she heard the cases that needed me first so I could get out of there….thank you, Judge! But we were still there for 1.5 hours. My friend sat in the audience and watched from amidst the crowd…..it did her in. We went to visit her friend after that for about an hour and then we headed back home……she slept the whole way back. When she woke up at her house, she said, “I don’t see how you do that everyday, I am totally wiped out!”

So, its good to know I won’t be getting anymore stupid anytime soon because I am a busy girl……It seems as if the more drama there is, the calmer I get. I have spent alot of time in “high drama” mode, so maybe it fits right.

p.s…..after I dropped her off, I went to meet an attorney and his client at our local jail….that was 2.5 hours long….reading discovery on a case!!

yes Elsa….some ridiculousness involved with it….for instance, a friend of mine from Honduras called me today to tell me that Mel Zelaya has been throwing hand grenades out the windows of the Brazilian Embassy trying to start a mini-revolution….and the funny part is….I believe it!!! That could totally be happening!! While the consulate is going in asking Zelaya, “is it true you are throwing bombs from your window?” and him responding, with his hands behind his back, “what?, me?!…who said that to you??!!” It’s like a Mel Brooks movie to me…..jajaa

Togi – I wonder if you’re onto something there. The people who have this natally are used to the pressure and so this seems relatively normal to them? I know I’ve got a bunch of those nasties in a nice set of t-squares so it seems to let up for very short periods of time in my life and I go “aaaahhh” and soak it up as much as I can.

Elsa – a one car household will seem normal in a year. We’ve been that for 1.5 years as I gave my car to family in need (laid off of work, vehicle died in a two worker household, etc. etc.) and now I bike/walk/bus to work and it seems normal after a time. We also have two renters without car and I schedule a run for groceries, etcetera’s every week or two and they get along just fine with the bus and walking to work. Living in a city really is possible to get along just fine with semi-regular hauling transport ie carsharing organization or friend/family with car use shared. It may be a shock at first but congrats on him being closer to home. I hope you gain LOTS of pleasure from that.

more than ever it’s important, i think, to cultivate compassion.

or the libra-ey ability to see where the other is coming from (even without agreement)
