Good god, what is so important about pastrami that warrants screaming?

My fiance flies in tomorrow after a month of being somewhere else, and though I don’t know what all the day will bring, one thing is for sure: I intend to have good hair (Leo) and spend the evening fucking to kingdom come (Scorpio/Pluto/Mars) at my house (Moon), which I have spent all tonight cleaning and making perfect (Saturn). If I’m leaving anything out, let me know.

I was able to help a kid who desperately wants a job in Chicago get an interview with a guy I used to work with. It’s almost a perfect match, and it came totally out of the blue. Very serendipitous — not for me but for both of them. Not sure how this all fits into the scheme of things, but it just struck me as odd, in a pleasant way. I really hope that the kid gets the job, because I liked him a lot.

Funny. The kid as Leo and past co-worker as Scorpio I can see very clearly in those roles.

Through extended friends I know of a guy who went to the hospital with a “heart attack” this weekend. Couldn’t find regular markers of it in his blood though. Turns out the lining around his heart is inflamed due to H1N1 that he got but didn’t show symptoms of because of the tamiflu he got when his wife spent a week in the hospital with the H1N1. Relieved is the words for everyone around him. It’s serious but treatable. But an unexpected twist as his wife had it a month ago.
