“”Bout what?”
“Stuff.”
“Did you ask him about his wife?”
“No.”
“Did you talk to him about us getting married?”
“Er… no.”
“Did you discuss anything having to do with emotion -Â anything I might be interested in?”
“No.”
I just stood there with the phone in my hand, looking at it. “Okay then, that sounds wonderful.”
