Getting ready for winter, I heard from a double Virgo friend as she was going out to score her winter wardrobe. Like me, she shops about twice a year, once for summer, once for winter. I add shopping trips here and there to spice up my life in between but the double Virgo, will do the sensible thing and go shopping right at the beginning of the season when the clothes are plentiful and take in what there is to offer before everything is gone. A Virgo will plan, you see, and most of the time they will plan by the outfit, not the look. It is better to go for a “look”.  Life is easier if you find your “look.”

Some astrological signs take to finding a “look,” that suits them more than others. With the idea in mind of “looks,” let’s look at how the mutable signs approach this…

Take the Pisces : A Pisces needs to change things out, they can pass through a room and not be seen by anyone or pass through the room and have EVERYONE see them. They have clothing for this trick as well. This takes more than one “look,” for the Pisces and you’ll find most mutable signs will find a use for more than one “look.” Bernadette Peters, one of my favorite people is a good one to look at in the way of two looks. Bernadette has the Glam power to wear an entirely sequined dress on the runway or to the Tonys and off camera has a hippie thing going that suits her body type. Her hair lends itself to both looks as well!

The Virgo needs more than one look because there are times when they want to appear as the “Virgin.” Beyonce is a good person to look at in this way of double takes. Beyonce will wear the white virginal dress and have her hair just so and turn around and wear a bikini top made of animal print. She has to have the Medusa/Madonna change up in her choices of armor. Can’t Can’t imagine a Virgo dressing that doesn’t have a 180 in her closet. We’ll ask Elsa this. Of course if the chart is very earthy, the girl will not do the “medusa,” (and I mean this in the best possible way,) look very often if at all. Beyonce will have her hair slicked back or tied back on her girly days and will have it wildly messed up just so for her rockin’ days.

A Gemini, the sweeties, will always have two in tow. Let’s look a Johnny Depp again. He’s got his band, his “Hunter Thompson channeling,” “look,” and this switches out with his top hat wearing “Chaplin look.” Both suit him nicely but he wakes up and feels one way or the other OR mixes the two and that is a special Gemini/Pisces thing, mixing the two in one outfit. Now and again we will see the other mutable signs pull that off but often in these two signs we see it happen. I would not be surprised to see a bit of rock and roll in Johnny’s red carpet look, would you?

And then there’s the Sag, gotta love um. Katie Holmes shows us her duality by wearing her “Mrs. Tom Cruise” wardrobe and switching to street wear when she’s out by herself, shopping or with friends. If you noticed, Katie was more often found in her downtown girl look than her conservative look until she married. Once married she perfected her conservative style to a point where this astrologer was worried she’d not find her wild side again! If she had not, I’d be questioning her relationship. Katie has points cut in her hair that can make it look very, very conservative, almost like a bob but when the points are taken out in her hair and let show we see an edgy cut that makes us think “Street.”

We are affected by out relationships first and foremost when it comes to our “look.” We will often dress for our relationship but more likely we will have out “relationship outfits,” and out “we love it,” outfits. This is not really a good thing and we can, if we try, find a median there and dress each day for us first and anyone else second. Do you dress for yourself? If you don’t who do you dress for? It is said that women dress for other women. I find this is not often try unless the woman is a fashionista. In daily life, most women will dress for their relationship, not their job, more than likely. There are exceptions to every rule of course but if you really ask your friends or study them, especially if they are mutable signs, you will find they have clothing that is solely based on their closest relationships.

As an aside here, I dress not for my relationship but for myself, then again, I’ve been on television, modeled, danced and sung for crowds so I had to find ME and make it a firm ME.
