Saturn Opposite Uranus… Noting Progress Regarding The Polarizartion Of Our Society

Astrology in real life

This is the 3rd of 5 exact oppositions of Saturn and Uranus.  The first was on November 4, 2008 coinciding with the US presidential election. While the country is more polarized than ever I can note some progress in the fact that people seem aware now that the opposition is not going away.

By that I mean that at the first pass one side won the election and that was supposed to be the end of that. This has proved not to be the case so as far off as resolution may seem, we have made progress in that both sides can now see one another.

i’ve come to see that certain aspects of my rebellion were childish anti-authoritarian impulses whereas other aspects…. didn’t go far enough. and to recognize more fully the value of structure, boundaries, and consequences.

Hm, I have no idea if I want to be free or not. I am currently “stuck” in situations, but want freedom, but am not sure if I want it enough to cause the ruckus to break free… but then sometimes I am certain that I want to cause the ruckus… but then I don’t know if it’s worth it, etc, etc, etc, etc. It’s never ending. Maybe Uranus will just take something when it hits my moon again. Blah!

We are experiencing this in our life of living in a Vardo the size of a single car garage or someone’s bedroom and on wheels. We have a very different life — contemporary Gypsy offensive to the settled citizenry. Zoning and codes are written to deny our existence.

Alas, the Uranus of it is … we exist. And, there we are polarized and facing off. I blog to pen a body of work to prove we exist. We are seen. What next … fusion, crushing fusion, and then something yet to be.

It wasn’t the end, it was only the beginning of a new age. Wow this country could not be more split down the middle. I attribute much of that to racism. I think the R’s were relieved that Obama won the election. After they started 2 wars, totally let the economy go south (Feds were responsible but didn’t regulate all those bogus loans) now they can blame him for the mess Bush (well actually his cronies ($$$$$$) as he didn’t have a brain in his head)got us into over the last 8 years. It is going to take longer than 1 year to pull us out of this disaster that has been in the making for 6 years.

I am just so passionate about the fact that we have been spending 2-4 Billion a week for several years policing other cultures/countries and killing countless untold numbers of innocent people.
I think we should have a vote in how we want our taxes to be apportioned, and I would send much much more of my taxes to social care, not the defense department.

I wish I felt we have made progess, but look at this blog and comments UGH

Yes Mari I agree about the racism thing. For months now I haven’t thought that was the issue maybe just a dem rep thing but now it is clear to me know and shocking I still can’t believe it in this day and age. I myself am trying to not jump to the other side and say all the *blanks* are nuts just trying to be Libra about it all, lol. I don’t know what is gonna happen because there is A LOT of anger and hatred out there in this polarization, some people seem to have a “group think” mentality. It is truely scarey.

i will be SO glad when this lets up. it’s jarring and nerve-racking and i’m tired seeing my own views repeatedly vilified and marginalized. i’m very tired of being called names…
