When Venus squares Pluto old lovers come back. The climb right out of their graves or their trash cans as I like to say, this happens without fail but the Venus Pluto square in October is especially notable.

It’s notable because Venus is in Virgo, the sign of it’s detriment and it is conjunct Saturn and it is square Pluto. Talk about LOVE KARMA. If you’ve got any skeletons I’d be watchin’ my back ’round this time.

Communications if they come, will be hard core and if you are going to initiate any communications, I’d caution you (Saturn) to to check your subconscious motives (Pluto) and make sure you’re clean (Virgo) because if otherwise you’re liable to get crushed.

Yes I realize that reading that will send some of you running for the phone just to see how bad it’s going to hurt. This is fine with me – Take 2 and call me in the morning.

For others, for those who scare easy and for people who always wonder if these bastards / bitches get what they deserve, I give you Nick Lowe with the anthem…

Funny, I was just thinking about all the MF’s from my past. Wonder why – preparing for this upcoming transit I guess. I have been laying very low for a couple of years actually and this should be intersting.

I’m chuckling right now as Venus will be joining Saturn in my 7th house when this happens…skeletons? *tries to shove bones back into closet* what skeletons?? ;)

p.s. wanted to add, I’ve taken to adding these transits to my calendar on my phone, with alerts 2 days and 1 day before they hit. I’ve titled this one “Skeletons in the closet go “BOOM”!!” hehe…

Lilly, that is ingenious!!! *whips out phone, starts programming*

I swear, I don’t need my ex contacting me. I honestly don’t know what I’ll do if he does: ignore him (most efficacious) or break his nose (imminently more satisfying). I do know that I’ve been kicking around the idea of packing up all the stuff I took out of that house, the stuff that I can’t look at without remembering, and letting him deal with it. I can’t toss it, it doesn’t feel right, but I can certainly give it back so he can if he so chooses (and I have no doubt that that’s what he’d choose).
But on the same token, it’s not like I made a clean getaway. Some of you girls remember the hell I was going through trying to make decisions through all this, and my trail is definitely filthy in areas. So maybe, if he gets the balls to say anything, it’ll just be to curse at me and I can ignore it all easily.

Whatevah. It’s months away. I’ll deal with it then.

Argh. I hope this doesn’t mean the last ex gets dumped again and starts e-mailing again. Sadly, he still remembers my work address and since work changed their e-mail setup he’s no longer blocked there. Argh.

A small story of ex-lovers. Way back when… my HS BF was the love of my life. We broke up messily and over quite some time near the end of HS. We were both still in love with eachother but somehow it wasn’t working (I blame myself a great deal for it) and a good two or three years later, living in another state I processed a lot of that and felt horrid at how I had treated him.

So I wrote him – an apology. I had no expectations of getting back together, nor any wish to do so. I had changed so much it would be a matter of starting over if we were to get back together but I was young and wanted my life karma free as it were. So, off the apology went. I never heard back, not for years and a move to another state for me (he stayed put) and when I did hear from him he was getting married. I was actually really happy to hear that news. Sadly, I found out that they had been dating since the beginning of college and had broken up over my letter of apology. They got back together (somehow me being a few thousand miles away helped) and got married.

Fast forward a number of years and I get on FB and find all the old friends from HS on there. Including him. And we become friends. He has a pile of kids and is very happily married to the woman that broke up with him over my letter.

So beware of unintended consequences of clearing your conscience. Funny thing, it feels comfortable to be friends but I am relieved I never stayed with him – I could never have done the religion and kids thing the way he has and I’m very glad to be with the man I’m with now. (and had time to sow my wild seeds as it were) It’s like having a brother or friend that you will always have a warm fondness for but.. but am happy no other obligations with my ex.

So even the most honorable, conscience clearing thing can have consequences. Thankfully, they weren’t permanent in this case. I do think that we would not have the ability to have a friendship now – even at a distance, if not for that letter.

More oddness in my life..maybe it is this, it sure fits.

After my divorce, had a one year relationship with my own personal ‘gaslighter’. Been, oh, 3 years I guess since I last saw him/ran screaming from him. :)

Anyway..going around the corner yesterday to the grocery, there he was(apparently living now in a condo a block from me). Yeah..that probably sounds like no big deal..but it is because: He is from Brooklyn, I am on the PA/MD border. When I met him he was living near Philly, where I am at now is in a tiny, little town like almost a 3 hour drive from Philly. The closest he ever came before now was about an hour and a half from here..and that’s when we were a couple.

To me, way tooooo close for my taste, and just plain weird, like what are the odds on him being my neighbor now, especially when I really DON’T believe he has any conscious knowledge of my whereabouts, nor really cares.

I don’t believe in coincidence, so I suppose sooner or later I shall know what the reason for this little universal “ha-ha, got ya” hiccup is.

Well, yes..love of my life from eight years ago returned…completely unexpected, yesterday.
It was intense and I’m in a state of shock. Received his call on Sun. while in the grocery store…where I had been buying several unusual items (for me) a bright yellow table cloth. He arrived with a shirt (for me) of the same yellow, as well as one of deep midnight blue. He was dressed all in black and dark shades… in the 8 years since he became well known in this part of the world via TV and wishes to go incognito..
ahhh, Venus/Saturn….Pluto on the promenade.
geez louiz, elsa…right on the money.

i’m not too worried, nowadays. though i’m always capable of being surprised.
i guess i trust myself more and am less likely to get rattled by things. yay!

@lindsey- wow!
@kachina- er… good luck! i’d be unnerved, to say the least.

I think this is highly interesting. I’ve had 2 ex lovers come back within the past two weeks. The one I want to come back hasn’t yet. I treated him bad and would love to apologize to him :-( .

Yesterday I came home to find a small, wrapped package dangling from the doorknob. Inside was a letter from my ex of two years ago (we haven’t spoken or seen each other in well over a year) saying that though he wishes my happily ever after was with him, he wishes me the best with my new fella and thanked me for the time we had together. Also included the bracelet I gave him for his birthday one year… Sweet, but WTF and why now??
