Saturn In Virgo: Small Animal Report – Life Debt

Dora gobbled a steak bone tonight and got it stuck in her throat. There is not much to, Dora so the Heimlich Maneuver was sort of out. She was walking about gagging, having no luck at all.

The soldier tried to get in her mouth, she didn’t want that so he let her go awhile but it was definitely stuck. “We have to get it out… reach down her throat,” I said.

“Okay, you hold her, P.”

I grabbed Dora and held her still as he pried her mouth open and reached down her throat. “I can’t get it,” he said. Dora took off, still choking to beat the band.

“We have to get it, or she is doing to die,” I said. “What are we to do? Watch her die? Get that bone out.”

“Okay hold her, P.”

I grabbed Dora and he reached his whole hand into her mouth grabbed the bone and pulled it out. Whew! Dora took off, right back to where she got the bone looking for another. 5 minutes later she was lying in the middle of the hallway like nothing… faced away from us.

“Well she’s wracked up yet another life debt with you,” I said. “You can see what a big deal she thinks this is. How many times have you saved that dog’s life now anyway?”

“More times than she’s worth.”

The soldier is concerned his googly-eyed dog is going to follow him into to other lifetimes, that he will be stuck with her forever.  He is hoping he is stuck with me but admits he’s got nothing to say about it.

I have no knowledge of such things but can tell you, Dora does not leave my side for a minute so it’s big curiosity.   The rhino, the bird and the googly-eyed dog.

There is something extraordinary about the connection between Dora, the Soldier, and you.

I’m glad she’s okay!

I’m so glad Dora is ok and unphased by her near death experience.

Yeah, she’s oblivious. She totally expects whatever she needs, including a life save to be forthcoming.

“I don’t want that dog followin’ me around.”

“She may follow me.”

“Well that’s fine, you’re used to morons like her.”

::rolls eyes::

Sometimes I think this dog is going to live another 10 years and if so, Clunk will too just because. Cluck gets tired walkin’ halfway down the hall… stops lies down on his side and blocks traffic.

Dora is so narrow legged she can get by which shocks Clunk.

That needs to be a children’s book: The Rhino, the Bird, and the Googly-Eyed Dog. Preferably by either Roald Dahl or Neil Gaiman, although the guys that did The Stinky Cheese Man would work in a pinch. ;)

BTW, what happened to you being a gazelle?

If she is going to follow him into to other lifetimes, could be a good thing: who knows she might save him in that one. Maybe she did already.

“She totally expects whatever she needs, including a life save to be forthcoming.” Trust is beautiful. Glad to hear she made it!

“I held her jaw down, reached down her throat – grabbed the slimy son of a bitch and yanked it out like a tooth. It was jammed in their sideways against one of her teeth. From now on, no bones for her unless they are huge. And no chicken bones because she’s the kind of dog that chokes on them, one of those dogs with an M on their head for MORON who thinks, I won’t just chew this bone, I’ll gobble and swallow it whole down my throat.”

Elsa-

She is a dog…not a human and YES you shouldn’t be giving her a bone that is not appropriate for her size…this is your KARMA. You will need to keep saving her life until YOU (and the soldier) learn to take care of her with responsibility or she will be right there is your (his) next life…maybe as something far less manageable!!!

And from the soldier who saved this dog who starving with mange in a 3rd world country, 14 years ago… smuggled her on a plane, rescued her countless times since, never mind the thousands of dollars we have spent on her when we are both poor, she’s had the best care in the world…

“Tell her to kiss my fuckin’ ass for expecting someone to judge the danger of every thing all the time. Jesus Fucking Christ.”

(I agree)

Well as much as I hate unsolicited advice, someone who thinks they are in a position to judge my karma is even worse.

someone who thinks they can even say one word about another human’s karma obviously doesn’t know shit about the meaning of karma.

Sometimes I wonder where this stuff comes from. Has S. read the body of Elsa’s work?? Actually—even if S. had only read this post only–there’s nothing but love for Dora. Good God Almighty.
