Open Question: Is It Possible To Stop Loving Someone?

July 28th, 2009 @ 6:01 pm by Elsa

Ask the collective

“Love is like a stamp,” the soldier said. “If you love someone or if they love you, that’s it.”

“You think so?”

“Yep. If someone loves you, they love you, you’ve got the love stamp. And if they don’t love you, they don’t love you.”

I certainly agree with the second part of that. If someone doesn’t love you, it’s hopeless but I am not so sure about the first.

The Moon is in Scorpio while ruler, Mars applies in hard aspect to Saturn in the Mercury-ruled signs. You might work hard to transform, blah, blah, blah, but more likely we’re talkin’ harsh, cutting words and we are certainly seeing that around here.

I am not sure this should be judged as negative. Sometimes people just need to spew.

The Moon in Scorpio intuits this and votes for lancing a boil rather than leaving it to fester but Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Aquarius may feel the expression of anger and frustration degrades a community.

There Is Some Serious Angst Out There… Saturn Opposite Uranus

July 28th, 2009 @ 4:44 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

juggling knives elsaHoly cow, so many things are precarious right now I can barely track them.  I ran to the store on a pretty critical errand. If someone’s life is at stake, that’s critical, right?

Well, it took longer than I anticipated… maybe 10 minutes over so I called Vid on the way home to check on him and he didn’t pick up.

Whaaaat?

I’d left him on the computer, I should have been 20 minutes there and back and I could think of no reason (and 10 reasons) why he would not be picking up but I still felt a mixture of panic and anger.  Why is he not picking up?

“Should we get our rings engraved?” I asked.

“Engraved? Engraved to say what?”

“I don’t know.”

“I don’t think so. We don’t really have words between us like that. You know some people have words between them, something that means something to them but we don’t have that.”

“No?” I asked, unsure exactly what he meant.

(swearing below the break)

Voice Of Mars And The Flying Nun

“P, you’re an actress! If you wanted to be an actress you could easily be one,” the soldier claimed.

“No.”

“Yes. But there could be no kissing scenes. You could be an actress but you aren’t going to be able to kiss anyone.”

“Not even on the cheek?”

Voice of Mars – 100 Yards

July 27th, 2009 @ 7:25 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

“Look at these, P,” the soldier said, handing me these targets.  Vid talked him into teaching him how to clean a gun.

“How far away?” I asked.

“100 yards.”

“When? How long ago was this?”

“Last time I shot.  Couple years ago, maybe. Think I could hit someone in the head?” he asked with a gleam in in eye.

Now go back and read, Is That Your Mom’s Gun? and have a laugh.

Astrology Today: July 28, 2009 – High Alert

July 27th, 2009 @ 5:00 pm by Elsa

My eye on the sky

scorpioThe Moon is in detriment in Scorpio but well aspected, at least in the morning. More troubling is the chaos in the mutable signs that extends to include Pluto in Capricorn.

It is Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto involved in the skirmish and I hate to tell you but Mars is now moving within orb of Saturn which will do little but add some frustrated anger to mix. By now, I’ve got to suggest people be careful in their cars. Especially where Gemini things are involved, like short trips and cell phones.

Don’t allow this forecast to scare you (Saturn). Instead just act responsibly (also Saturn) and have your quick reflexes on high alert.

Saturn In Libra – And More Notes Still: Definition In Relationship

July 27th, 2009 @ 4:23 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

hot dogs libraOn a personal front, last night the soldier was talking about getting married and he specifically wanted to define goals for our relationship. I kid you not, those were his words.

He went on to say he was less interested in what the goals were then he was in the fact they were agreed upon.

More Notes On Saturn In Libra

Astrology in real life

libra flak jacketsThe Moon is in Libra and I figure this is a good time to talk about Saturn’s transit through Libra.  I have already started to get into this (Strong relationships) and someone started a thread on the boards (Saturn in Libra) but I thought I would treat another angle today.

It was astrologer and Libra,  Shelley Ackerman who used the word, “reciprocity” when she addressed the issues that saved the Astro Dispatch and this concept is going to be huge with Saturn in Libra.
