The New Moon, Solar Eclipse In Cancer: July 21, 2009 – Hard Ticket But Scorpio Fares Well

I don’t usually write about the new Moon because so many others do such a good job but this one has my attention. It takes place at the 29th degree of Cancer and is the focal point of yod.
Pluto in Capricorn agitates and unnerves the Sun and Moon in Cancer. The Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron conjunction is not much help as high-minded intellectual ideas are not of much use to a baby who has needs!
The house where the new Moon falls in your natal with be super-activated. Many people are going to want to be reassured which is going to be a difficult ticket.
Venus and Mars are in Gemini, lies are flying in all direction. Even if the information is factual, Saturn in Virgo fears it is not and if you put this all together, it’s going to be very hard to get that baby to stop crying.
I understand new Moons are supposed to be new beginnings but with the Moon so incredibly agitated, again this is a hard ticket because a new beginning based on Fear of Dying (Pluto in Capricorn) or Optimistic Visions Of Utopia Where All Wounds Are Healed (Jupiter et al) seems questionable at best.
Scorpio fares best, especially those with planets in the late degrees. This is due the massive support from the New Moon in Cancer and Uranus In Pisces both trining Scorpio.

No kidding! Been getting whining from all sides [I get to ignore my own internal whining . . . ::grin::]
Yeah, this favors my late Scorp rising too. Thank god for small favors! 
The new moon is on my mars mercury conjunction in the 11th. Will be sexitling my earth and trining my water. And no doubt creating havoc somewhere but I don’t wanna look.
These eclipses are changing me though — guess it makes sense since they are cancer/cap axis

Does anybody have any thoughts on this being the second New Moon in Cancer this year?

The new moon will be in my 4th house and it’s connected to so many of my planets (Uranus, Venus, Saturn and Pluto). A bit freaked out, but I hope it’s nothing too bad… I’m starting to get used to getting slammed since last month 
It’s in my 8th House. I won’t hazard a guess what it may bring…but if it bodes well for Scorpio I won’t fret.
I have dermatitis from poison ivy. Saw the doc yesterday for cortisone shot and pills. I’m already on antihistamines for my nasal allergies.
The eclipse in Cancer is within a degree of my natal moon in the third house (equal house). My moon squares my Saturn & Neptune conjunction in my sixth house (health).
For me, the eclipse has stimulated my Saturn Moon square skin problems. I never seem to notice the Neptune factor – but that’s Neptune for ya.
Well…I am approaching this “happening” later tonight, or early in the morning, depending on where you are, with cautious optimism. I can say that, since my natal Ascendant is late Sag, and progressively Capricorn. I expect many possible transformations and catharses,since this hits my 8th house, only just, near my sun, which is 1 degree of Leo. I am on the Leo/cancer cusp. Mars in late Cancer, in 7th, but really too far away (25 degrees of Cancer), and moon/mercury conjunct in Cancer, in 7th. Natal Saturn Squares my Mars, sadly, so..I am bracing myself, but I am really not afraid of the dark side, because..I have already survived cancer, and have been near death and back before (Sun conj. Venus in Leo/8th), and I can die or be reborn any day and feel..whatever is, is. Natal neptune rising in late Scorpio, as most born in 1968 have. It rules my 3rd. I am a writer, so..I guess whatever happens, it will be a great STORY, even if it hurts. I am just going to consider this..another moment of pause and reflection. Another time to see how the universe may or may not be so powerful a determinant in our lives, for we still make our lives ourselves, in the end. The astral events just..give us challenges and..resources to work with.
7th house like the other one and I think the upcoming once on New Year’s Eve?
ooo it’s trining my late scorpio sun. i cud use some good stuff fr a freaking change! though all the aquarius is sqr’ing it all, rite?

I felt a bit uneasy about this solar eclipse, and now that I read this about new Moon, I’m even more. Sun and new Moon will conjunct my natal Saturn in 9th house (same degree even). That means they will make same hard aspects as Saturn. opposition to Venus and Mercury, square Uranus and Jupiter. Good news is I have Scorpio rising and Moon, so that should be of some help.
