Her long black hair in keeping with the Virgo image of virginity is often pumped up to the Scorpio seductress that is selling her from sea to shining sea. Amy often runs with the down and dirty but keeps that virgin image in the press safe in the manner only a Scorp. rising could manage. Poor little Amy, sexy raging Amy, we see both in her style of dress. Amy is also fun to watch if you favor the dark side of dressing and a perfectly put together image. me toooo! i don’t think this style would work on me, but i don’t have Virgo (or Scorpio rising!) so, there you go.
when I ever get worried about amy winehouse I just think “iggy pop pulled through!” sometimes i wonder how shocking it must be to have a voice like that.
She sure doesn’t look like that now. I keep hearing about all these uber Virgo’s with Scorpio rising who are self destructing. It’s been a bad few years for us with these configurations. Amy’s decline is tragic. She was so, so beautiful.

Annalisa is SO NICE and sympathetic to a whole bunch of celebs who tend to get really bad press, especially given the trend for celeb-hate-gossip blogs. I like that about her!

Agreed. I’ve made a vow to myself to discontinue reading celeb gossip sites and magazines, and I’ve been doing really well!! I was even wondering if there’s a site out there that reports good celeb news only.
i’m certain the depths of celebrity breakdown is only accelerated by the media… i have no particular love for britney spears, but i felt so horrible about what they were doing to her for awhile…
i think people should have the right to fall apart and a hand to help them put themselves back together, not some massive crushing horde of vicious bastards delighting in their misery and trying to perpetuate it for their own sadistic gluttony.
uhm. yeah. pluto in sag had some nasty business and we’ll be learning that for awhile.
scorpio has a talent for going phoenix and arising from the ashes, so to speak.

Amy Winehouse is an enigma. She’s a mix of the sign of sex: Scorpio. And she has Virgo, the sign of the Virgin! How interesting!
I notice 10th house sun people have a good career, even if their personal life is going to sh*t.
You know, I have no knowledge of what it is to live that life, in the spotlight and constantly scrutinized, but I know it has got to be so hard.
I remember when Oprah was all over the news for regaining some weight and made a public statement about it. I was mortified. It pained me just to consider for a minute what it would feel like to be in that position.

There’s a lot of nasty celeb blogs out there because celebs are nasty. Not all, of course, but a large number of them are only concerned (IMHO) about sex, drugs, and more deviant sex. Not to mention that they look down on the lowly masses–the same people who line their coffers.
That said, I’m not a fan of TMZ, and I’m about to give up on Perez. TMZ really did a number on Britney, even after it was obvious that the poor girl was suffering from PPD and bipolar disorder. I was so disgusted by them that I deleted the site from my bookmarks, and I haven’t looked at it in two years.
Here’s an article that describes what I’m trying to say about Hollyweird’s prevailing attitude. Even though this refers to 1920s Hollywood, it hasn’t changed.
