The Pluto Moon Influence… Elsa P And Her Desires and Methods

plutoThe Moon in aspect to Pluto is really kicking me up. I have a strong Pluto touched Moon in my natal chart, the same in my progressed chart and it shows up in my solar arc as well. As you can see (or will see shortly) I am very tapped into that which is instinctual or very deeply rooted.

I have been debating my “people changing” theory with the soldier throughout the day. He is headed here so his energy is applying. I can feel him coming closer and I am pretty much winning the debate which no one really expects to happen when we discuss something because his ideas are so fixed.

I have his attention because for some reason I have ready access to a plethora of examples that illustrate my point and simply cannot be discounted or explained away. The themes span decades and as I recall and communicate them I have the visceral memory which tells me without a doubt the events are connected.

That is I felt the same way doing something at 5 as I did doing something similar at 25. I had the same emotion and further I had the same motivation.

These things are inherent to me. They reflect desires and methods that are quintessential, Elsa P and wrought boldly in my chart as you may imagine. Let’s put it this way:

I KNOW I have not changed. I suspect you haven’t changed either but I don’t know that. Is one person as deeply rooted as the other? I don’t know but I will be trying to find out.

I will be checking this out with my sister. (We are a lifelong controlled experiment). She was there when I was 5, she will remember what I remember and she will see the connections so my first question will be: Do you do this too?

Because she may not. This whole business may be a function of my 8th house but I doubt it. I think all of you are driven as I am, you just don’t know it.

I am willing to find out otherwise though. If I am wrong, this will provide me a new question and all happy in Elsa P Land.

it is only as of TODAY that I have fully embraced that viewpoint. I never wanted it to be true, but the facts have overwhelmed my wishes.

I am most definitely the same. Talking to an old friend recently made that very clear to me. He was shocked by who I am now but in talking to him I was reminded of what lay beneath the surface and is merely unhidden now, not brand new.

well, the drives and forces don’t change, but the orientation and perspective can shift. the shape of the target and the style of approach can be altered.

i also think we can learn to be more effective over time. trial and error. scrape your knees enough times and your balance improves…

hmm.. so what does this mean for the whole north/south node adventure? if we are supposed to strive to be like our north node but will inevitably fall into south node habits the whole notion of the north/south node seems kind of unfair…

I think you are part of a minority, Elsa.
From your stories I gather you were a kid that grew up pretty fast, maybe at 5 you were more mature than other kids your age. It takes time for people to grow into being an individual, takes a lifetime for some.
I don’t think people change, but I feel strongly that people can lose themselves, than, later in life, they rediscover what they lost – it may look like change but it isn’t.
My dad quit alcohol six years ago because of a heart attack and ever since he has been rediscovering his maternal side: cooks, takes care of his kids, rebuilds the house he grew up in. He has a Cancer Moon and his mum died when he was 13, I always felt him more nurturing than mum and now I realize I was right. Even when he was drinking, in his sober moments he was a sensitive parent.
He will always be an alcoholic, but what he is now, is also a part of him.
People may not change, but the ones that dig deep enough within themselves, may discover hidden treasures or horrible nightmares.
