My Venus is in Libra. I’d put that love makes one both weak AND strong 
My Venus is in Leo in the 5th conjunct my Merc, Mars, and Sun and sextile my Moon. Love makes me a little of both. Mostly, it makes me strong. it gives me the power and support to do more in my life. It allows me to understand myself better, because love, I think, is always a mirror. It brings out the ‘me’ in me. The way that it makes me weak, though, is that I come to rely on it too heavily, and that’s really frightening. Suddenly I have something that I can’t imagine living without, and that just scares the shit out of me. I think it’s my Libra south node that brings those traits out.
Maybe he was confusing weak for.. vulnerable
Venus in 12th, square Pisces Moon.
5th house Sag, Venus, opposed by Jupiter in Gemini. Love made me strong, I would fight for someone else, where I would not for myself, but weak, because anyone who would threaten me knew just what to threaten.
Strong! Strong! Love makes me stronger, no question.
My Venus is in Mars. Guess that’s not a surprise, then.
Venus in Gemini – of course I said both. Love makes me weak in the knees but feel strong enough to take on the world. My venus is sextile Mars and conjunct Uranus so I’m a little quirky. What can I say, It’s either feast or famine for me.
Venus in Aries
Venus in Scorpio in the 8th. I try to be happy but the jealous side of me doesn’t allow it. Something to work on.
Weak. Venus in Sag. Sextile Pluto but conjunct Neptune. When I’m in love my brain is on vacation.
Loving makes you vulnerable. Vulnerability leaves you weak but makes you strong.
I said both. My venus is in capricorn, on the 12th, so requited love is a mirage for me. It makes me both strong and vulnerable. stronger because i feel happy and empowered , hopeful, whatever.. and vulnerable because I feel scared it will be over, or won’t work, etc. :/

Weak and strong. Being vulnerable is really scary but yet really empowering for me. I feel most alive when in love with both intensities.

in the beginning, the feeling of love makes me scared, but after i acknowledge it and look at in the face and express it, i find it to be liberating and transcendental.

I say both. Reason why is because love is probably the only thing that affects me one way or another. Most other things in life don’t faze me, but love, oh yeah, love’s another story.
voted Both : Venus – Libra 11house. I think when you love you made yourself vulnerable, you take a chance, a big bet (venus sextil jupiter). On the other hand, incredibly strong, because you are in flow with the life.
Love makes you weak. How you adapt to that is the measure.
And I’m venus in pisces
It makes me totally strong. When it’s good I feel strong, and when it has it’s bad moments I push myself to feel stronger. Through love I nurture myself (emotionally) as much as I nurture others. Venus in Virgo in the 11th.
To me, love is a win/win situation no matter how the story goes.

My sister’s husband used to like him, he was a scorp.
my sister has venus in Aries and used to throw his pepe le pew stuff at the back fence, break it when she got pissed.
The scorp had an Aries rising (this is the one I called, “Aries bunny” to make him mad) and so he would become passionately inflamed when she did that!
Aries’ must have a really active sex life as a result of all that anger.
I voted both, venus in cancer 2nd house square my libra mars.
I voted strong it may make me weak, in reality, but I feel as though it makes me strong.

Saturn and Jupiter conjunct venus here in (8th placidus or 9th for equal houses)….. having saturn conjunct venus is COMPLETELY disconcerting at first. But over time………I do feel that a Master of Love is emerging. Thanks for the hard lessons Saturn, and thanks for blowing things totally out of proportion and being soo grandiose Jupiter. Blessings to all. Oh yeah they are all in Libra and pluto is not far away in Libra as well. There is a perfect match for all of us. And by perfect, I do mean PERFECT. But we must work hard, purify and be open to receive. All love is a blessing and leads to more. Honor it. Love is the ultimate inspiration. Having Saturn conjunct Venus has shown me so much about how we as a society are so caught up in illusions of love and the expression of it. And dont ever tell me that sex is just sex. The highest expressions of sex can only be reached by the purest of heart. Feel the divine in yourself and the other, and communicate eternity. Sex is the ultimate form of expression/communication between humans, and it is a complete waste of time and energy NOT to relate (Venus) to it as a sacred act. Saturn has taught me this. I am lucky to have his overseeing eye, since when you follow this purified path, the blessings are too numerous to count. Always be yourself, and dont try to live up to some stupid societal expectation of how you should act in any “love” situation. Always be honest. Even if its “boring.” The fact is that when we are truly ourselves, there is no such thing as boring. Over time, you build up your capacity to express more and more true love. “Whosoever should be a man, should be me a non-conformist”…. All pain or frustration in matters of love is a blessing of light pointing at the illusions that are holding you back from your highest Self. LISTEN. Thank you.
I dunno really. My venus in leo is square mars in sag so love is troublesome. Lets just say I’ve never had a stable love affair.

I admit I’m a (stinky? hee!) fool…but just tonight I was talking to my friend and she reminded me how incredibly cynical I am when I’m just out of a love affair. A “bring me a new trampoline so I can wash you out of my hair” kind of cynicism. If I ain’t in love, I’m dressing up in a jester’s costume and mocking the court. And the worse thing is…I like it. Love makes me weak and I hate that. I try too hard to be what the other person wants me to be until I eventually can’t do it any more and want out.
Don’t know really… Venus in Gemini in the 9th (square Jupiter, sextile Pluto), I have been without a love relationhip most of my life.

I voted both, and I think that’s true, but I’m leaning in the direction of stronger. First time in my life it’s made me stronger, though – so I don’t know if I trust that. lol

Venus in Scorpio conjunct Pluto in the 5th house. I think it’s metamorphosing. Personally, the only way to grow is through love. Love is always bittersweet simply because of the amount of vulnerability involved. With my Venus in Scorpio, the preoccupation, the strange perceptions and thoughts, the idle suspicions, and just the fear that something might go wrong at ANYTIME can make anyone go mad. With my Venus placed in the 5th house, drama plays a big role and feelings are always over the top. One thing I do know is that when love is there for me, it’s there to stay, regardless of my fears and insecurities, I stick by it……Because like corny Venus in Libra folks would say, love actually does make the world go round, in a painful, beautiful, and distorted way.
Venus in Gemini/ 7th house. Venus Opposite neptune and trine Pluto. I felt both.
Venus in Libra, voted I don’t know. Guess it’s kinda both, but also, it seems to me it’s almost impossible to say because at different times the same relationship affects you differently. even simultaneously, if that makes sense? (Like you could be by someone’s deathbed and you’d feel shattered, but you could be overcome with love that makes you take it).
And don’t get me started on Pepe Le Pew, one of my favorites of all time!!! He’s really bigger than life, isn’t he? And oblivious. So sure of his appeal.
