“How is Dora?” the soldier asked a few days ago.

“Well I am sorry to tell you but she is still pissed. She is still pissed off at you, she is just not herself. She walking around still perturbed and I think you may pay for this awhile…”

Here is what happened…

Cluck is a hairy dog. He’s 1/2 chow so there you go. The soldier decided he needed brushing but his brush is with Vid’s dad (Lucky spends weekends there) so the soldier started combing him.

Cluck doesn’t mind being groomed but it has been awhile (too long) so he was not really into it until Dora came in, saw what was going on and was clearly pissed.

Seeing this, Cluck laid down on his back to expose his tummy with a look of pure ecstasy on his face just to further piss Dora off. “Look at this, Dora. Look. At. This.” Dora was fuming!

I decided I better help her out so I set her food bowl down (put up so Clunk can’t eat her food) and she immediately utilized the prop by sticking her nose down in the bowl so it appeared to Lucky she was eating. Lucky has no poker face at all so we all saw his ecstasy drop a few degrees to be replaced by anxiousness and Dora just stood there like that the whole time. I mean she just kept her face in the food bowl as if she were eating but she was not eating, she was pretending to be eating.

Soon the soldier finished as much combing as he was going to do he got up and Dora proceeded to snub him the rest of the night.

He left the next morning with Dora standing way away from him looking like this: “SCREW YOU”.

Hell have no fury like a woman scorned…

(note her weird paw position. Her paws go all askew when she sleeps – rarely the same way twice)
