Venus Trains…. I Mean Tames, Mars

Astrology in real life

dora-fetal-sm.jpgMy friend and astrologer, cf perez talks about women civilizing men. She thinks this women have lost the plot on this front, they have forgotten their role as women, however Dora has not.

Lucky, Clucky, Clunk used to follow me everywhere I went. Wherever I was, he was and he used to follow me into the bathroom too and just sit there. I just could not go anywhere without that dog being right be me… he’d sleep under my desk crowding my feet but he no longer does this.

“Do you think Dora told Clunk?” the soldier asked. ‘I think she told him.”

“Told him what?”

“You don’t watch girls pee. You don’t do that, Clunk, don’t you know that? Don’t you know anything? What are you, an oaf? Get yourself some manners you oaf!”

I roared.

“Yeah, I think she said, you stop watching girls, pee! Because you see when they go in the back yard, she goes one way and he goes the other. I think that’s because Dora filled him in. Don’t you look at me when I pee! You get over there. You stay away from me when I pee and you look over here either…”

If you are a women, do you relate even the least little bit to it being up to you to teach men some manners?

Yesh.
But I hang around with unmannered louts. ;)

oh yeah! My husband readily admits to being a troll. His manners have improved a lot over the last year.

My 18 year old son has been dating this young girl for a year now. My husband and I think it is a riot that when she eats over, she instructs my son to help clear the table. He actually listens to her too, lol. I always thought of my kid as pretty well mannered, but this is fun to see – I do agree that women give some “miss manners” guidance.

Kris, I doubt it, she does not like to be too near him although she has got him trained to stand by while she eats 3 or 4 bits from his food bowl every morning – in front of him, going first.

But yeah. She doesn’t get near him all that often, to her he is a beast. ;)

She is Beauty of course.

Plus I am embarrassed of Clunk, I have to take him in to be groomed BAAAAAAAD. He is 1\/2 chow and he just looks insane with his hair…

I tend to like manners/etiquette, and when it comes to food I really am grossed out by people who eat sloppily or especially who touch food that other people have to eat. I went to a formal dinner, went to the bathroom, and came back to find pasta had been served and a woman from my table sitting in my seat to talk to the woman next to me with my dish right in front of her, like her hair and everything inches away. She didn’t even get up right away and then she passively agressively says, oh sorry, hehe, here I am in with my hair in your dish (and btw she had been unsuccessfully trying to flirt with my man) so I sat down and pushed it away and said sweetly as I dug into my BF’s food, no problem, I’ll just eat from his plate, we’re used to each other’s germs.

Got distracted there–anyway, I have improved many an oaf’s table manners, yes. I have not had similar success with the farting on the couch, however! ;)

it never occurred to me I was supposed to teach anyone. I usually just sit there and marvel and the gall/audacity/idiocy… you mean they don’t know they’re fucking up? hm.

I love men, I love the dirty, ungracious, rude and testorone beings that they are. They can burp, belch, snore and then turn around and love the feminine caring being that I am and then the circle is complete, as far as I am concerned.

I love YOU, Lynn. Your comment made me smile a big ol’ ear-to-ear shit-eatin’ grin.
Ja, I loves men, too, even when they’re rude. Sometimes especially when they’re rude. :)

Yeah, I give him manners and training about as well as training my cat. Oh, he is a big putty cat. Hrm, maybe different training methods? ;)

Actually he learns a lot from me just from watching. There are some things I’ll never change nor do I want to change but some that make for a better/easier life for him I have changed.

I should say that differently. He’s chosen to change some things with my explanations. He’s some some free will (cat thing again) so it wasn’t me that “made” him change.

“you mean they don’t know they’re fucking up? ” HA HA satori, I wonder if that’s a Cappy Moon thing?? I totally get that…

I have trained a man or two, but it is always a friend; my partner would never put up with that (I attribute it to him being a Capricorn with Moon in Scorpio).
Quite a few of my man friends ask me to explain things from a venusian perspective and I am happy to oblige. Human relationships enthrall me to no end.

Not in the slightest, because I’m a man inside. I’m not civilized either.

Yeah, I used to have a man that I had to teach everything about manners – in fact I had to pretty much represent him in all social interactions so he didn’t embarrass everyone in a five-mile radius. Now I have a man who has very good manners and actually dresses well, so I stick to helping him decorate his house. I enjoy it very much, and happily wait for when he asks for my help – I like being thought of as a good-taste resource.

My ex was much better mannered than I — never even heard him burp!

Em, I gave a male friend the choice of being considerate, yesterday. I’m not gonna force anyone to be considerate. But I made it clear that I was deserving of consideration.

Such a long, long, long, old story not worth going into, right now. Right now, I’d be really content to watch this correspondence burn up, the ashes all flying away…

… and I wish that it was all about manners, because I find burping and stuff like that really funny. But it’s not. He’s all about personally attacking, and I’m just not having it.
