The Saturn Uranus opposition has become intense. The exact aspect occurs the first week of February so it’s applying and where last time the US election seemed to steal the show, this time it feels much more personal.
Saturn of course wants to oppress Uranus who rebels and winds up blocking (or oppressing) the Saturn force to their great shock (Uranus). You see it all over this blog. I am simply not going to take instruction from people who I don’t work for. Why would I? Further if I did work for some of these people I would quit!
I am working hard (Saturn) to innovate (Uranus) and what is nice is that Virgo / Pisces has a common goal. These signs want to serve. But by God, if you try to oppose someone these days (and I don’t mean just me) you better be ready to be shocked (Uranus) and crushed (Saturn). But there is a way around this!
People who have boundaries (Saturn) and respect a person’s individuality (Uranus) are not having any problems. Amazing, huh?
I see this as a shocking somewhat unexpected (Uranus) defense (Saturn) and if you think about this on a world scale it will get your attention. It is entirely possible someone gets sick of having their boundaries encroached and decides to hell with it and lobs a nuke. This is the kind of energy you are dealing with and personally I wouldn’t poke it too much.
Think of it as a blip in a person’s or a nations control. You know how they say (or at least Arroyo does) that under Uranus transits a wife may leave her husband in a way that seems sudden but in fact there was something working under the surface for a very long time? This is like that. People who actually know me (real life or otherwise) see me defend this blog these days and think, I knew she’d do it sooner or later.
It’s like the soldier when he read the story about the guy who came through my window and got in my bed. He flipped right out reading that story because I did not defend myself. Come on, P, come on! He was punching his fist into things reading the story. He was completely frustrated. “This is not the P, I know.” And this went on in the story. I was passive (controlled) for some time but eventually I got a bat and I charged that son of a bitch and was this a new found ability? Of course not.
I have a pretty good fix on this energy having grown up with mega Aquarians and a double Capricorn grandfather next door and I am telling you, encroach on someone’s boundaries at your own risk. Because just remember this: Uranus doesn’t give a flying fuck. We are dealing with an outer planet here… a supernatural force and the idea it acts in the way you think it should is as ridiculous as thinking you can control or dictate the path of a tornado. Just imagine that.
Imagine standing in front of a tornado with your directional flags expecting it’s going to care one whit about you? And if you do choose to think about this, keep the concept of INTEGRITY on the table because back to using my blog as an example, when you write me or leave comments that attempt to reform (Uranus) or boss (Saturn) my writing (Virgo), you are disrupting (Uranus) the integrity (Saturn) of my mind (Virgo)! And while this used to be tolerated, things change. Ya’ll want change right? ::smiles::
It reminds me of Billy Jack (again). I have Libra and I try to be polite. I really tryyyyyyyyyy.. but sometimes I just go BERSERK!
If you have personal planets around 20 degrees Virgo/Pisces you are likely experiencing tension of this sort. Both signs are inordinately unpredictable at the the moment. They sure as hell are not going to take orders from anyone and when they blow… well you’re apt to feel as if a building caved in on you or perhaps you’ll just wish it could be that clean.
Uranus opposing Saturn means things are NOT stable and this includes people and for that matter, dogs! I notice Dora goes from looking normal to looking as she has one foot in the grave and then it’s back to normal. What will be the result of this? I’d say it’s unpredictable…

“I really tryyyyyyyyy to be polite, but sometimes I JUST GO BERSERK!” I had to laugh when I read this because this was the same Billy Jack metaphor applied to me by a close friend and colleague after we’d had a very difficult and challenging meeting with a bunch of folks who we’d been dealing with for a very long time (over fifteen years) and who were very resistant to change. My friend said I ‘went all Billy Jack on them,’ and he was right. The upshot? They changed, not as much as we would have liked them to, but some.
I also had to laugh because I was so fried after that meeting that I didn’t even know what my friend meant when he said I ‘went all Billy Jack’ and had to ask him what he was talking about. His ver batim response: “I JUST GO BERSERK!” and at that we cracked up and then all the tension just vanished like mist. It was great.

my husband has packed virgo with moon at 20 degrees and this describes very well what he has going on at work right now.
i also have a busy virgo/pisces axis including chiron @ 20deg Pisces, but am not sure how it’s playing out for me. i will work on becoming aware of it so i can direct better. thanks for the heads up!

well it’s as if where you think there is no wall or boundary, one can pop up in a split second. Just consider the entity on this blog with the 8-10 ids who fucked with me for YEARS. Think he/she/it expected anything to change (Uranus)? That MF is blocked (Saturn) to kingdom come. It’s change! Change in the structure. Change in the rules. Upset the status quo but don’t be surprised when this is accomplished with MORE not less rules and don’t for a minute think you’re going to like it because guess what?
People hate change. They say they don’t but they sure as hell do.
So you can watch it on this blog… in your life or on the world stage but one thing is for sure… you are going to see this play…
I hope I am not one of the offenders Elsa, because I’m not sure that I’d realize it if I was. My boundaries are fuzzy as hell, admittedly, but I don’t think I am one of the offenders because I never send you e-mail about the blog.
My Pisces sensitivity (and perhaps Leo moon grandioseness) keeps thinking “wow she sure seems a little PO’ed lately, sure as hell hope I am not one of the guilty parties.”
Wonder how many other people actually feel this way when they are not one of the guilty parties, anyone?

and i guess i’m on this energy as it just occurred to me what i’m working on today: setting up late fees and suspensions for people who don’t pay my business on time. they will be shocked! i am a terrible bill collector. but some of the folks freedom from worry about their services getting suspended is creating financial restrictions for me. i’m sure they won’t like it but it has been long time in coming and very overdue from my perspective.
as far as your blog, whenever i saw anybody act up, my usual (internal) response was WTF? but i just consider somebody’s blog to be like their own home: if they don’t like somebody’s behavior, they can toss ‘em out. or they may opt to put up with for their own reasons. i may not like the behavior either, but it’s not my house.
personally, i also don’t find ignoring the demands of strangers with some utterly inexplicable sense of entitlement to be bitchy in the least.

My older sister also has some planets near those degrees. And right now my sister is on the verge of being laid off. The mind games that go on are really mentally taxing. It is very complex and hard for other people to get a handle on.
When you talk to my mother you have to pay attention. Never let your guard down. If you don’t walk the tight rope she will stay on you and start calling your friends your employer the person you are seeing your boyfriends relatives. Anybody she can get at you with. I am staying away from her so now she is going after my older sister and digging a trench to strike in another way. I have to say I am really affraid of this woman. My mother does not even know where I live now. I gave her the cell phone number and not the house phone. Maybe if you ladies are reading this stuff I write you won’t feel so shitty about whatever you have going on. I am dealing with this. Whatever you have going on you can deal with it too. I am slowly getting away from these people. The only thing that has kept me back home is my nanna. She is in assisted living 2 blocks away from my condo. I keep the condo so I can see Nanna. Its 5 blocks from the crazy woman, my mother. Nanna is going to be 102 in May
She is getting less and less coherent. And 21 degrees is a pretty sensitive spot in her chart.

For the old timers that story ends in TOMBSTONE. I didn’t name the town but that is where that story ends… which of course means it’s not ended because no we’re going back.
Matter of fact, the soldier and I could go pay that guy a visit if we wanted. He’s a double Scorp… doesn’t move much. Almost 20 years later and he’s still living in the same place and it’s 20 minutes from Tombstone.
I wish I was still writing stories. Those are days I miss.

Talk about Uranus. No one has seen my father in a couple of years. He all of a sudden showed up at my mother’s house today and announced he is retired. He asked for my mothers help in how to apply for his SS benefits. He stayed at my mother’s house and visited for 5 hours. Fixed her clock. I just don’t get my parents. In my fathers head he married my mother in Italy and according to the catholic church that is still his wife (even though he divorced her by American law in the 80′s)
This is too surreal.. I am not allowed to see my father because I am being disrespectful to her but she lets him walk right into her house. I am so f’g confused…

I’m still not over the way this played out in November. The astrology world seemed to be all “Yea! this is going to be great for the election.” and I was all like “F*&$ the election! My life is falling apart.” I know it’s not over and won’t be for a while.
this really encapsulates a lot of what i’ve been experiencing lately… i certainly had a new way of thinking open up when i realized that all the teachers are dealing with the same host of behavioral issues… not just relatively inexperienced (with crowds like these) me.
we’re dealing with pluto in sag kids experiencing this cross in virgo/pisces. no wonder it’s grueling…
and thanks for the bit about boundaries… it’s really helped me focus on where my worst issues are… and the kind of saturn i feel far more comfortable expressing…

that’s funny, especially since i was getting on here ready to apologize for answering Dorothy’s query aimed at you earlier in the comments. I sometimes do that unconciously, but am really trying to stop altogether because it is rude and i am not intending that.

Interesting. I just read an article about turning your hobby into income, and then I come here and read about whores.
I get so confused. To me a blog seems like an opening in a boundary. Like inviting people into your life by publishing pieces of it and then allowing comments and sometimes directly asking people for their thoughts.
And then I’m confused, should I only leave comments if I agree? But should not leave any comments if I don’t agree?
Sometimes the blog confuses me because it seems like part blog, part advice column, and part forum (like when an entry ends with a question and invitation to discussion). So unless a question is asked, does that mean it’s in blog mode and I should treat is as though I’ve walked into someone’s personal blog about their personal life?
Boundaries are good – but only if they’re clear. If they shift a lot, it’s gets too exhausting trying to figure out.
why bother if it’s so exhausiting? Whatever it is, I think this blog rocks!

I could care less if people AGREE with me. I dont’ want to be told what to do. I’ve said many times people and their opinions are very welcome here AND appreciated. That is very different then getting mixed up and thinking I work for you and you can dictate my hand or my mind.

Elsa, I agree with your reply and thank you for answering my question. A) I have all of that Virgo / Pisces business where I can’t see boundaries like other people seem to, so I often have to ask. B) It sounds like it’s directives that are the issue. Not the comments people leave with their opinions – so say, if someone didn’t like reading about the soldier so much – and they said so and indicated that it was just their feeling and opinion, that is one thing. But if someone said a similar thing but indicated (directly or indirectly) that they knew how to run your blog better, that is what crosses the line.

Funnily enough I have my IC/MC on the axis of 19+ Pisces/Virgo, and last week I just told two people off about crossing boundaries. Much like you I didn’t say anything too nasty the first time, and ‘got a bat’ out the second, and they acted so surprised. The conversation went down with one of them something like this:
A [them]: I am coming over next week. Can I stay over?
B [me]: I don’t think that’s a good idea.
A: I thought we cleared the air the last time.
B: And I said ‘no’ the last time, too.
A: But I thought we had resolved our difficulties.
B: Yes, by agreeing it won’t happen again. I thought I was straightforward enough.
A: That’s just it. You’re not straightforward at all. I don’t know what you mean.
B: How many different things can ‘no’ mean?
A: I don’t understand. Why is staying over not a good idea?
B [before letting rip with bat]: Because it’s my flat and I get to pick my guests!
A [after I let rip]: Wow. What anger!
I gave up after that and just put a block on my email.
LOL, you so describe what is going on in my life right now. But I’m the one doing the shocking and crushing!
Loon – I understand what you were saying about sensitivity and not knowing if you are at fault. My S.O. asks me why I have to apologize for living. But I’m also ultra responsible and work my but. off. So a better way to live is to tell people straight out and set your own boundaries and then because you’ve choosen to set boundaries and be direct with people make it their responsibility to be direct with you in return if they have an issue.

Also – yes on the whore report. I spoke with and visited with a bunch of them in east africa years ago (but still after AIDS) and it was a whole different ball game there. Socio-cultural differences, monetary differences, etc. It was quite fascinating. Most of the women were in dire desperate straights and this was an option for food or school or food for children.
