The Sun, Mercury, Mars and Pluto are all in Sagittarius. We’d all be optimistic and over the top if not for the fact that Jupiter (ruler of Sadge) is in it’s detriment in Capricorn.

Venus is also in Capricorn, Uranus is polarized against Saturn and if you put all this together it is obvious we are still dealing with reality however there are so very good ways to go here.

Jupiter and Saturn are a natural pair. One expands, the other restricts so when you’ve got both strongly represented like this… well there are real (Saturn) opportunities (Jupiter). Granted they are the kind you have to work for but who ever got anything off the ground (besides an idea) without any effort to back it up. Make the most of this one. I’ve been dealt much worse cards and so have you.

On other fronts the Moon moves into Scorpio midday and when it does things will go deeper. However there is some relief as as the Moon in Libra has been fighting the planets in Capricorn all weekend so for many this will be a welcome shift.

Okay, now that was not expected.

I just put Vid to bed and we are in the habit (the soldier and I) of telling him a story…. usually a wild one that is shocking and true. This is the first night Vid has been home and the soldier not and I figured he’d be sorely missed at bedtime because his stories are so good. Sometimes we tell him one in tandem, bickering back and forth with conflicting versions so you get the idea… he is a hard act to follow, actually it’s impossible.

I went into Vid’s bedroom not knowing exactly how I was going to handle this and he shocked me by asking me to tell him story about his sister from when he was little. “From before I can remember,” he said.

I did it but I don’t feel so good.

The other night the soldier’s new pal… that Ranger guy I’ve mentioned came over for drinks. He’s a Libra with a stellium in Scorpio that is impressive. He’s got his Moon, Venus, Mars and Uranus all conjunct the Midheaven.

He’s younger than us but seems to like old people. Remember the soldier has Moon Neptune in Scorpio so I am sort of out of place with my LEOOOOOOOO which is just plain childish in compare to these two.

“Yeah, I gave her one of my uniform shirts and she burned it,” the soldier said.

The ranger opened his eyes wide. ‘”You burned his shirt?” (swearing below the break)

Quite a few people have signed up for the relationship class and quite a few people has sent their birth data so their chart might be used for the class however almost no one has written a thing to go with the data. You know. “This is my experience when it comes to relationships…” or whatever.

I am getting 80% just plain naked data which is I suppose it okay although it’s not what I expected. So there is that but here is what is even crazier: Almost everyone who did write something to send with their data asked general questions such as ‘How does my professional life look?” Huh?

This is about the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. The soldier knows someone with McCain and Obama stickers for his car on magnetic strips. He changes them out depending on where he’s driving. And the astrology?

He’s a Pisces (you tell me which way that fish is going) with Venus and Mars in Aquarius and if you see him you can just consider your chain, jerked.

Got into a discussion re: the soldier’s nicknames. I went into this extensively and then maureen asked:

Hey Elsa, does he know that we know him as the Soldier?

Yes he does. He thinks he’s a character though. He doesn’t think anyone here knows him and/or actually likes him. He thinks they like the character, “the soldier” and I really have no idea if this is the case. But yeah he knows although he doesn’t read my blog at all anymore.

The sun Mercury and Mars are in Sagittarius and people are sort of preachy. I would definitely not expect anyone to hold their tongue. Basically, people have opinions they are going to broadcast.

Venus is in Capricorn trining Saturn and relationships if you are in one are very serious. Some are deprived of relationship in this is also taken seriously today. But the plot thickens with the Moon in the Venus-ruled sign of Libra trining Neptune.

This is sort of like taking a room full of people in business attire and getting them drunk on their ass. And if you have ever been to a party like that then you know all kinds of things can happen.
