I have a bad side. As for what happens when a person gets on it I usually stop interacting in any shape or form and try very hard to get all my energy “off” of them.

This didn’t work so well with my former friend who I had a very ugly breakup with (I’ve written about her here before).

I never spoke to her for 2 years, and rarely if ever, acknowledged our falling out to anyone we knew in common.

In the summer she attempted contact, but it was after a funeral (one of my best friends died; she was at the funeral). I got an email with I hate you, I don’t respect you, You fuck with me, You make everyone around us uncomfortable, you this You that BLAH BLAH BLAH.

I could’ve wrote the most vitriolic cut-your throat response (Mars opposed Pluto always fantasizes about these kinds of incinerations).

The craziest things was this at the end: You chose not to have me in your life anymore so LEAVE ME ALONE.

I can honestly say that my silence and refusal to give her any sort of energy hurt her more than anything. Why else would she email me and accuse me of doing the exact opposite of what I had consciously been doing? Sorry…

I can say this: I may have been consciously attempting to keep my energy off her and been unsuccessful.

The second Pluto moved into Capricorn she moved permanently across the country. I think I’ll finally have the space to grieve all that was lost. That was the worst breakup I’ve ever had, bar none.
