I’ve suffered same. My best story is a guy, I mean GURU on a mailing list 10 years ago. He did not like my manner of speech. You know how someone says they “killed a test” or something was “killer”? Well chances are if you have Mars mashed with Mercury you are going to say (and think things like that) but this guy was having nothing of it.

He explained how I was going to be killed (raped, maimed) and it would be my own fault having invited such things by using such words. Can you say – CONTROL? How about MORON?

But really that guy scared me so bad I’ve not sworn since.:) Or been around someone who does.:)

I could rack my brain for the rest of my life and I’d never find a way not to be a hard-on writer and here’s what kills me. (ha ha ha, that was an accident, I swear it)

Invariably these types consider themselves enlightened. They’re so enlightened as long as you agree with them.. comb your hair they way they comb theirs. More blecch!
