Notions And The People Who Are Prone To Having Them: Is This What Art Is?
Ask the collective
I wrote about the soldier’s “notions” (“I will turn into a girl…”) and it occurred to me people like us who really involve ourselves in living do tend to have these experiences. For example he plays around in the psychic world with that antenna of his and there is no telling where he goes or where he may be taken. Consequently he may come back in a “mood”. He may be happy or excited or alternately he may be agitated or any other emotion you can think of. This is because he is experiencing life.
I do the same thing on this blog. It appears I write every day and tra la la but behind the scenes I am steeped in it. I am often happy due this blog. It brings me a lot of satisfaction but on occasion it really ruins my day. It’s got that capacity. This blog can put me in a mood is what I am saying.
I can work all day and be happy or I can work all day and be brooding or sad or anything else you might imagine and understanding and accommodating this is one of the areas where the soldier and I both excel. We don’t react to every damned nuance.
Some of this is age but (and this is also Saturn related) mostly it comes down to the fact neither of us are very controlling. We both have good boundaries and we understand space and emotion. But what I am getting at is the idea that some people live in a way that is enhanced. Sort of the opposite of being a drone I guess you could say and I wonder why this is. I feel the sun on my skin, I always have. I get an impression… a very distinct feeling from your email. Is this what art is?
What do you think?

Notions and the people that are prone to having them…that is a book title or at least a chapter title, huh elsa?
Reading the other I have to say hah! hah! hah!, Your blog has the exact same effect on me (prolly because I do not have my own blog). It can have some kind of effect that goes on thru the day. I don’t love it that a blog can do that to me in either direction. I need to work on detachment.
But oh yeah, not only do I NOT react to every damned nuance, many said nuance fly right over my head, assuming said nuances are even read, and not always, this blog is faaaasssst! And I do thank God for what all I am always missing, nuance-wise (the ones that might be upsetting anyway).
you’re toooooooooooooooo sensitive, that is my mothers refrain toward me, Pisces rising
thicker blog skin anyone else?
I dunno what it is, but it is what I am like too…

I don’t think the sensation is art but how you interpret that sensation to the world, which then becomes art.
