Oh my gosh, Anon!

I’ve got Mercury in this mutable neighborhood myself, and am feeling some strained communications (as in others seem to be shocking to me and, probably, me to them) and have been feeling very pinned down by my work, which I want to bust free from.

I have my moon in Gemini in the 11th house at 19degrees Gemini. What that means is that that Saturn and Uranus are both square it right now, with my moon at the top. Neptune is trine it. That new moon in Scorpio earlier this week was in my 4th house.

I lost my job suddenly 2 weeks ago (me and about 200 others). Yesterday, the CEO of the company quit. I did not see this coming. I am frantically looking all up and down the east coast for a new job – I am in DC metro. I also had some legal problems beginning in August 2008 (nice eclipses those) that I hope will be winding down end of November.

I know when that Saturn square goes exact – I will be feeling extra puny. I feel pretty puny and scared now – but am being proactive and trying not to wreck my life by making a bad decision. A very stressed moon – but knowing the little I know about astrology – helps to know this too shall pass. Saturn wants me to work I suppose and I am working my rear-end off trying to find a new job.

This too shall pass I hope. I know Jupiter trines my Taurus Sun in December at 25 degrees Taurus. I feel like the kid shovelling the horse-poo in the stall saying “there has to be a pony in here somewhere”. It is what it is – in the cosmic scheme these are my problems – a lot of people have much more to worry about.

Sorry about your Soldier – I hope he will be ok.

My son (15) has this transit of Saturn in the 10th (Authority) and Uranus in the 4th (home/family). They are both basically directly conjunct and inconjunct his MC. I have a feeling that this is a big deal. On top of that his natal Moon is at 16 Sag in the 1st (Self). He’s managed to get himself in a lot of trouble trying to assert his freedom and will likely be spending some time in jail next week.

What is especially spooky is that this transit is also hitting my MC but is different in that it is Saturn in 3rd (communication) and Uranus in the 9th (law). No mutable planets for me.

I have a bad feeling this time period will not be easy.

Moon and Uranus 16 and 21 Virgo Pluto is in Virgo as well, Sun is mutable in Sadge and I am fighting the urge to run with every fiber in my body. If I didn’t have kids…I’d be packed up and on the road as I type. But the pressure is unbelievable.

I want to bust free of this election! I know we’re starved for leadership, and I know we crave someone who can string together syllables in a meaningful way, but I wish people wouldn’t mythologize Obama like they are… he’s just a human being, and this is developing into a cult-like phenomenon! I read all of these Astro Dispatch blogs, and the astrology is so skewed toward a bias, it’s unbelievable. Some bloggers I used to respect, I respect less now that it’s so obvious they’re desperately clinging to an outcome and abandoning sound astrological principles to make that outcome happen somehow. But that may be my Saturn side doing the wet blanket thing on the Uranian Messiah party. It’s just that I think it’s dangerous to put this guy on such a pedestal, much like a lot of women I know do after a particularly positive first date… only to put out and get burned afterward. Don’t forget: A politician, any politician, will make prom-night promises to get what he’s after. He gets his. What do you ultimately get? Besides dumped and disillusioned?

This isn’t aspecting anything…now. When it goes into the late degrees of Virgo, it’ll aspect Venus/Pluto…gah, this conjunction hasn’t seen any action in a while, and once Pluto in Sag finishes its transit, this will come along in 2010. Just in time for my 40th birthday!

My sun is at 17 Gemini, and with Neptune stationing on my natal Moon I just want to morph into a diva..
