“What happened to the fight /truck driving story?” Vidroid asked last night trying to coax another story out of us at bed time. I had offered him one like that but the soldier wound up telling a made up story about an old lady with a cane looking for love since she won a free cruise.
“Oh, you mean when he picks a fight with me when I’m driving across the country to see him?” I asked heading to turn off the light. ‘Yep, right when I am on my way driving cross country.”
“You’re the one who gets all floogen-hawfin,” he said with Vidroid siding with him the way Dora does with me.
“What’s that?” I asked.
“Air-Borne,” he said.

Yeah, I figured it was a word because he had that old lady talking in German but damned if I was going to ask him!!!

Dora is having her first halloween!! Yes! The soldier has lived out in the sticks for the 12-14 years he’s had her and she’s never seen Halloween.
She is going to scare people with us!
