Astrology And The Saturn Uranus Opposition – Boy, You Brilliant People Sure Are Chastising!
Astrology in real life
The other day I disagreed with something someone said and they came back quickly, “Well, that’s because you’re uniformed.”
A day later someone else told me I didn’t know “shit from shinola” when I disagreed with them.
I ended both these conversations quickly and I realize these people sound hideous however they are not hideous so it just goes to show what can suddenly (Uranus) be come out of your mouth (Virgo) if you are not careful (Saturn).
Personally I am trying to avoid brilliant, progressive, ahead of their time, humanitarians (Uranus).
I am also trying to avoid people who oppress via criticism (Saturn in Virgo)… and so often they are the same person.
You really have to stay vigilant to not fall prey to this one. Find something positive to do with the energy…

I told both people there was no sense we continue talking since anything I might say… my entire thought process had been invalidated due the fact I was stupid.
They were both (shocked) at the block (Saturn).
I think twice before I pick up the phone and call anyone these days. I just can’t stand the aggravation.
And oh yeah. I am pretty sure I’d know better than to smear shit on my shoes being Italian and all.

Saturn is transiting conjunct to my natal Pluto on the cusp of my 3rd house(Virgo), in opposition to transiting Uranus and also to my natal sun (in late 8th house Pisces.) Now I don’t know much about astrology (yet!) but I know enough that I told myself I would be really careful with what I said or wrote for awhile. Nevertheless,I have starting writing comments on the internet for the first time in my life (!) even though I’ve never been willing to do so before because I never felt comfortable with it. It’s like I can’t help my self! I hope this turns out to be doing something positive with the energy!
bew – I would say yes. That was a humble (saturn) comment (virgo) on an astrology (Uranus) blog.
Mums and Dads are the ones usually saying about ‘manners’. Its ok to do things your way. You have a good way with boundaries Elsa, you seem to know when to block and when to be open. You do seem to get some transference from others, that is when they project their authority issues on you. You are far from being stupid in my view. Oh well, thats their own shinola shining through perhaps.
k
huh. yeah… i get the opression via criticism. guess it’s one reason my uranian response has been kicking in…
gotta’ watch myself, though.. this is a tricky balance, to ride the tension between those two planets, and right now i’m getting a lot of practice in that in my teaching…
bew I seem to be in almost the same boat as you. Saturn is conjunct my Pluto and Uranus in my 4th house in opposition to Uranus transiting my 10th house. I also have yod from my Pluto, Uranus, to the moon in Aquarius in the 9th to Venus in Cancer in my 2nd house. I too have not written on the internet until I found this site. I find it very interesting and fun.
My first thought was “Why do Elsa’s clothes matter?”
Um. Yeah. *snert*
Lol, I have Saturn square Uranus natally (and both are singletons and as such very prominent!:P), and lots of Libra. My knee-jerk response is to take a Uranian position when I feel the majority are too conservative, and vice versa;)

I like that you have your system worked out for such cases Elsa. I dont think anyone enjoys being attacked or becoming “prey”. That is a good saying “shit from shinola”. I heard another one recently from the 19th century. “Life is not all beer and skittles”
Hopefully I will do some writing today.
