Blogging In Dialogue? Suits Me

dialogue-art.jpgSeveral people remarked that they liked the format of a dialogue in a blog that I used here: Fear and Faith and Saturn in Transit
I liked it too but producing something like that requires “other people’s energy” and I don’t emails like that one very often. Perhaps this can change?

I like a dialogue (I have Mercury in Libra) and I invite questions often enough but have no idea how to bring about this type interaction. I do know the advice portion of this blog seems to have almost completely disappeared so it would be nice to have a replacement for that however, I do not want to answer general astrology questions.

For one thing there is so much already out there and readily accessible by search, it’s just not an interesting prospect for me. But I do have Mars and mercury in the 9th and I love to debate and discuss astrological philosophy. I am ripe for this because I don’t agree with so much I read out there.

You could say I just like to be contrary and you may be right. It would be within my nature to argue the side that is losing but it may be something else. It may be my outsider status in general. I just don’t know how to be “in”.

I think I was done for on this front the day my family decided to move to the desert and live without a phone or TV or many other things people take for granted. In whatever case, I have been studying astrology for going on 40 years at this point and have always been a free (9th house) independent (Mars) thinker (Mercury) so if anyone wants to play… well, come on! Because with those same planets in the same places I am clearly interested in other perspectives (particularly those contrary to my own because they push me to think).

Thing is, I have no way to guarantee a response to anyone who may want to write. I mean what if they want to discuss what I consider to be minutia? ::hides under the bed to avoid:: 9th house again – I’m not interested! So there is a risk of being rude (Libra hates that) and this right here is what comes to mind when absorb the comments and wonder how I might be able to produce more “joint” pieces.

Ideas are welcome. Actually, energy of all kinds is welcome because I am an 8th house type and really can’t function without it.

Awesome. I’ll try picking my brain and see what I come up with. I’m glad you’re not interested in generalities, and I agree there’s a lot of it out there, anyway.

And, Busted wrote what he (she?) because of a particularly thought-provoking post that *you* wrote. You have a lot of really good material to access, and thank you for that.

If I understand correctly, Busted’s comments were NOT “but why Elsa do you say X Y Z?” and more philosophical than pendantic…I think the difference is understandable.

I understand Libra’s reluctance to be rude…maybe there could be a standard issue response upon first reply, with one of the following indicated: (a) works as is for Q/A b) this will be filed away for later (c) this is swimming against the flow of my brain these days, so no go.

Maybe if people who sent their question were made aware that everyone was getting one of the 3 responses, and we were all ‘treated the same’ then the sensitive folks amongst us wouldn’t feel like they were being ‘rejected.’

Just some thoughts…
