Love And Money And Blogging Astrology Redux: Arrogance vs Humility

“…You are hugely loved, but research does tell us that we hang on to the negative more fiercely. Would like to invert that!”
Natasha, thanks. I did not know about the research but feel pretty good about copping to this. I know a lot of people would think I need adjusting on this front – I have been told so many times. But I am not sure that inverting the situation would be the best tack. Leave it to Capricorn to see the upside of the negative but you know what happens to people who believe their own press.
As it is I exist in a (thin) soup of negativity and every once in awhile something grand penetrates and I wind up feeling like the boy in the image (my favorite image of all time). That is some glee, no? I know that feeling and I mean I knooooow that feeling.
Compare access to that kind of glee to someone strutting around full of themselves and I will take “me” any day of the week. Never mind it keeps me working rather than looking in the mirror which I’m pretty sure is better for the soul… at least Henry always thought so.

Do you lean towards arrogance or humility? Do you like it that way?

NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d say I’m not humble, but I’m not arrogant either. I worry about peoples opinion, and their thoughts of me a lot the time. In fact my old roommates used to think it was pretty funny the way I worried and did what I could to make myself acceptable/likeable and then . .
Regardless of intention, I’d come off as arrogant and thoughtless. People take me down for it all the time.
Saturn cnj Jupiter and both square my sun cnj mercury, moon is in virgo.
I think I come off as forceful though because of ye olde Mars sq Pluto, Mars is also sextile Uranus so when impulse hits (every ten minutes or so) . . I act and then I (saturn) kick my ass.
HAHAHAHA Jilly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kind of a catch 22. if i declare myself humble, isn’t that a bit arroagant of me? and if i declare myself arrogant, well, to recognize myself as such is pretty humle, dontcha think?
eh, well, i was kinda being a smartass anyway. truth be told, i can be both in different areas. it just struck me as funny.
what happened with you blog- astrology news? it turn down?
B – it disappeared on me… we are building a replacement and it should be live within a day…
writing an update about that now.
What a photo. I can totally relate to your sentiments. I am rarely arrogant. Luckily I have gone through a process and am very humbled by life. Arrogance is just a mask for unbearable insecurity usually.
I DON’T have Libra, but I still can’t decide!!
I guess it depends on my mood. It’s ever changing.
i am probably quite humble. hard to tell because i’m so full of myself that i don’t see anyone else.
and/or I have Libra.
I’m more humble, but people take it as arrogance because I don’t know I was told that I’m very mysterious, and people think I’m sneaky.Whatever the case I say what’s that got to do with it? Maybe everything if mysterious is all they see.
I know it is supposed to be gleeful but that photo just makes me cry.

“we hang on to the negative more fiercely”
That’s a Capricorn-like sentiment if I ever heard one. I do this, not sure if it’s something to like or dislike, but it definitely exists just as described. Somehow it feels safer to hang on to the negative than the positive, that way you make sure to cover all the bases. You never know where you may have messed up and it’s better to own up to it first. Plus, it feels much better to be surprised by the positive than by the negative
