The Deirdre Saga: Astrology Assists
Catch up here – Once Upon A Time A German Judge Told An American Mother…
Deirdre Tanton writes:
At the office in Berlin where we meet, the waiting room overlooks a courtyard. I was admiring a panel with slices of windows crammed in a corner, and that’s where I began this drawing, watching out for the little guy.
Sometimes the feeling of drawing can be similar to the feeling of astrology. Both can satisfy my craving to make sense of chaos, laying down the details in a big picture. Just when I start taking it for granted, something swoops out unexpected like an eclipse.
Right now we are coming to the midpoint between last winters eclipses and this summers eclipses. The midpoint will be Monday, and that’s this upcoming second full Moon at 29°26′ Scorpio which is so intriguing. I also found this cable pretty intriguing, the one which one neighbor had to have tossed to another so they could share resources and I imagine how they must have laughed. That’s a fun Scorpio image, a secretive cable at the back of the corner of the courtyard. I looked at the Sabian for 30 degrees Scorpio: The town jester is in his element; it is Halloween and there is now justification for any and all of his pranks.
Do you feel your fate shifting this year? How is humor getting you through your shift?

Definitely NOT? The year is hardly over! With Pluto changing signs and August eclipses, this might budge what seems not to be moving. Definitely?

i think there’s always justification for the jester’s pranks
yes, i do, and the biggest hurdle has been to let go of what i used tot hink i knew about myself. there’s definitely humor to be found in uncertainty, in amorphous places, it’s kind of a barrier-crossing sort of behaviour anyway, and it works well in lighting up ambiguity and paradox.
