Thinking About Imagination And Emotion… Mercury Is In Pisces, Now’s The Time
Ask the collective
The soldier just found out he will be passing through the desert city where we met. In a year of driving everywhere, this has never happened.
“You’re going to flip out while you’re there,” I said. “Oh man.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it will be emotional,’ he said.
“Yep.”
“What would life be like if I were not emotional over you, I wonder?”
“What would it be like?”
“I don’t know. I haven’t had to live it like that yet.”
Do you ever imagine what your life would be like without one of it’s major emotional components?

I can’t imagine life without emotion, but then I’m a Cancer. I know someone with a Capricorn Moon who attracts women to carry the emotions he can’t deal with, fear, rage, grief, etc. Then he pushes them away and denigrates them for their emotional natures. Better I think to take responsibility (a Capricorn word) for own’s one emotions.
In honor of Mercury in Pisces, I turn on the tv, and they’re airing Keeping The Faith.
I sometimes try to imagine what my life would be like if it had emotional components it currently lacks.
Dina – that is one of my favorite quotes
I have Mercury in Pisces. Life without emotion would be meaningless – if nothing moves you then you haven’t gone deep enough. I can always tell the most significant things in my life: they are surrounded by deep feeling, imagination and faith.
I sometimes think about what my life would be without children (especially when they’re buggin’) so that I can remember I’m thankful they pushed me to grow up.
fifth house capricorn moon.
it’s impossible. i just can’t. it’s like imagining a gaping hole in my me.
Definitely.
I was desperately depressed and suicidal when I was a teen and I never thought I’d live to see 17, much less be a happy adult.
Man, I have got to get into the Pisces groove. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life a superficial idiot.

Haha, no wonder I’m thinking of Albert Einstein’s “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Right now I’m imagining why characters in Dostoevsky think that man’s ability to bow before the immeasurably great is more important than his happiness or what a character means by this:
“God is necessary and therefore must exist.”
“But I know that he does not and cannot exist.”
“Don’t you understand that a man with these two thoughts can’t go on living?”
God isn’t that necessary to me.
