I’m off work as a dog groomer so I’ll be working on my other endeavors, reading tarot online.

I’m going to keep busy, i.e. try to be a moving target.

I am going to a memorial service for a very sweet man that lived to be 102!

I am going to meditate for awhile. As I will not have to go the office this morning this will
give me the opportunity to take care of my soul and psyche.

My psyche has been taking quite few hits lately so it is a welcome respit even if it is a short one.

Going to go through the mundane tasks at work and avoiding the BS that occurs. It’s been the most painful 3 years in my career life.

Had to stop to the bathroom just to cry this morning as I arrived Trying to stay strong.

… and then tonight, I work on my freelance work, which used to energize me but I am drained because of the things I have to put up in my day job.

So… pressure cooker indeed

I lost nearly three weeks of accounting-related work due to software corruption and will have to work day and night over the next week to get the file ready for a very important funding deadline. I should have backed up my files…

What I want to know is why Aquarius in that picture is wearing a dress shirt and slacks.

…and to say nothing of the lobster-Scorpio looking like it’s going to either clamp down on poor Virgo’s ankle or try to get a peek up her dress.

Mars-Pluto has been a bit of a punch to the teeth, so today will be spent recuperating and astrologicking.

I just finished my application for work at a sculpture park on a local island (then you can come visit, Randamandar, it’s on Hornby).
It’s all part of the grand scheme to escape into the arts for good.

I’ve got a natal Saturn-Moon square so today feels pretty normal to me. But then again, I’m always under pressure.

goin’ dancin’ (which is definitely going to be mars/pluto) and with it likely some head cracking, but it needs to be happening so it’s good.

i can feel some places where the saturn pressure’s applying, but it’s nothing i can’t work with. good signs, mostly, just need a little flexibility and focus.

I hadn’t PLANNED on anything today except a bit of email and computer clean-up as I’m recovering from this nasty flu going around.

However, the gauntlet has been thrown down. Our issues with our plumber started to come out in the open today. The plumber that has taken over 9 months on a project that should have taken less than a month. He plays my SO for a patsy and I did the (good for me according to the SO) soft talk of “when can you get it done” “when will you be working on this” “we need this done by the end of October” constant patter. He even had a hard deadline of two weeks ago when the carpenter was coming.

Well, he didn’t get it done and so my father and I did. Last week. I’m on to the tiling part that I was looking forward to. The plumber came by this week and is now quite patronizing. Today’s phone call was pretty bad but short. I suspect he’s going to have another go around with me next week when I’m feeling better.

Sad thing is that he’s been doing emergency plumbing repair for my SO for close on to 10 years. It’s now looking like he won’t be working for us anymore. I’m sad, but can’t have a non-functioning bathroom that long.

Sorry. I am ranting. It’s kind of added up over the months. I wonder what next week holds…

I’ve been wrestling, along with others, with whether to proceed with an intervention of sorts for a sister group-member in a group I’m in… issues of confidentiality, backlash, and power-struggle, with life-death stakes – we want to help not make it worse… A real pickle. I can really feel the Mars-Pluto opposition. Kind of scary.
