Zavela, I have no way of knowing but I suspect there will be no problems at all. One day we may get nuked but since we don’t know when, where or ever if, it does not make sense live in fear and this fear in particular is especially unfounded.

There was a movie (maybe 2 of them) made about terrorist events taking place at the Super Bowl in the 70′s and ever since then this fear comes up in people’s hearts and minds each year. Will everyone in the stadium be killed? Will there be a stampede? I would wager, “hell no” and tend to win most my bets but it you more stable assurance check this bit of wisdom.

It is a known fact that perpetrators choose easy targets. Do you think the Super bowl is an easy target? I don’t. I asked the soldier once if this country were attacked… where.

“Well if I were the General I would probably come in around San Francisco or somewhere like it.”

“Why?”

“Because no one will fight. They don’t believe in guns so no one is armed. No one has a gun or any idea how to defend themselves…”

Just to give you an idea how military people think. The last thing a terrorist is going to do is follow some 1970′s movie script especially when security at events like this these days is so beefy.

See that movie poster with the big penis thing… Jaws Shark? I suspect that is the subconscious image that is driving the collective fear when it comes to the Super Bowl over the last decades… amazing, isn’t it? Ooh, ooh. Here comes the dark cloud.

I say, go to the game and enjoy yourself without giving this another thought.
