Scorpio Mars Probes: How To Get The Girl

taurus bakelight My son has his Sun, Moon, and ascendant in the Venus-ruled signs. He definitely wants to partner. Matter of fact he got up one morning when he was 5 and told me he was “tired of sleeping alone.” I had to laugh seeing as he’d never slept otherwise but…

“I know what he wants,” I said to the soldier regarding Vidroid. “My son wants a date. He definitely wants a girlfriend and in this case he knows you got the girl so he wants to see how you did that. He knows I love you, he wants to see how and why.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah, he’s going to study you. I guarantee you that is what he’s up to.”

“Well he made me do push-ups with him sitting on my back.”

“I saw that. Was that hard?”

“It wasn’t easy,” he said.

“Oh. Well I guess I should have stopped him. I told him you were old.”

“It’s okay. But once we did them he came and got me and said we were going to do it again. You need a workout, he said.”

“Oh brother.”

“So we did them again so I guess this is what he found out. If you want to get the girl you have to be able to do some push-ups.”

If you were dealing with an 8-year old, what would you recommend they do if they want to “get the girl”.

Acquire a good set of manners. Say please, thank you, and excuse me, use a napkin, control belches, etc. No need to be able to serve high tea to the Queen of England, but if you embarrass a girl she’s not going to want another date.

Oh, and be a nice guy, but not a spineless wuss.

Get some interests, learn about the world, have curiosity about the girl, have stories of your own to share but be interested in her stories too. Same goes for dreams. Have dreams and go after them but listen to and support her dreams too.

And yes, have a spine, be nice, have manners.

learn to cook, learn to dance, put the toilet seat down in your house, learn to give great shoulder rubs, scalp massages and you’ll stand out from the crowd.

But tell your son, not every woman is for him, just the special for him ones.

Oh my. I’m very close to my 9 year old Scorpio godson. He’s been taught very specifically to not hurt people’s feelings when choosing not to get closer to girls his age. He’s quite the chap, so the girls love him.
My very Scorpionic SO told me of making sure his hands and fingernails were very clean when he began wooing the girls.
He had no trouble getting girlfriends –not like me, late bloomer as I was –and I have a hand fetish, so…

Keep your hands clean–something Taurus/Libra both can appreciate!

My boyfriend when I was 8 took me to see Bambi and he cried. I still remember! He also gave me a kitten. I have no idea what his chart reflected but I do often wonder if he was the one that got away! (and I’m about to turn 50)

Considering young Vidroid’s looks, intelligence and sensitivity, he won’t have ANY problems in the girl department.

However, since we’re talking about the here and now, my 8-year-old daughter is enjoying mutual smittenness with a boy who gave her a little dimestore ring a couple of months ago. Some small, shiny token expressing affection might do the trick, since girls at that age are so attached to objects.

i’d give the same advice to an 8-yr-old as to an adult: be the truest you that you can be…no posturing, no impression-making tactics, no worrying about what the other folks might think…just you. then, the ones that are interested are not chasing a mirage, and you’re not stuck playing a role to keep it up. you’ll end up with a good match.

here’s my best advice for grade-school: tell her you like her. boys hardly EVER do that. girls are often left to wonder. I suspect that’s good advice at any age.

I can still remember who I had a crush on when I was 8 years old. Of course, he was really good looking… but what I remember was that I dropped my pencil and he picked it up for me.. and I was smitten.

Other than that, I don’t think I ever talked to a boy until at least ..middle school.

but I suppose kids are growing up faster these days.

I would say… do nice things for her. find out what she likes, compliment her, smile, give her little things (like candy or a note or a sticker, or any cute little thing)…

and if she drops something, definitely, definitely pick it up for her.

and I agree with the above clean-hands comment. little girls are apt to find dirt gross.
