“P, I want to talk to you about that,” the soldier said. “You keep bringing that up illegally, when we argue.”
“What, illegally? Do you have the rules of chat?”
“Yes I do and I want you to stop saying things that are illegal when we fight.”
“Okay tell me,” I said. (Now here’s comes his Saturn on his Mars… control)
Well I want you to quit telling me that I am sending you to another man. I am not sending you to another man. I am sending you to a professional because you are asking me to do something I do not know how to do.”
Silence.
“I don’t know anything about massage. I never had a massage in my life until you gave me one and I have never given anyone a massage either so I have no idea how to do it but I know there are people who are trained to do this. They know what they are doing but I do not.”
“Yeah.”
“Yeah. And P, I can break a man’s leg. And I know if I hug you as hard as I can they way you tell me to, I am going to break your ribs.”
I see.”
“It’s true. So when you tell me to push on your back as hard as I can, I don’t think you mean that. If I really push on your back as hard as I can, you will be crushed.”
“I see.”
“Now this is how it is. So I will learn. I will try to learn to do whatever it is you want me to do but I am going to be careful because I know I could hurt you and I am never going to take a chance on hurting you… even if it makes you get mad in your veins when I tell you no.”
“Okay, I understand. I won’t say the illegal thing again.”
“Okay, good. And I promise I’ll do my best to learn all the things you’re trying to teach me. Because you know it makes me insanely jealous when you have to go see that bastard but there is nothing I can do. You already have a hurt back and I won’t take a chance on hurting it further because I don’t know what I am doing. Do you understand this? You are not being sent to another man!”
“Yeah, I understand. I’m happy about the situation and I won’t say that again.”

What a guy! Willing to learn it n’all. He shouldnt have too much trouble, just needs to tap into his taurean sensuality. Good luck and hope your back improves soon.
In my marriage, my ex wouldn’t even put forth the effort to learn how to do things like that for me. He just sent me to the masseuse. Post-divorce, my new guy (new…heh…it’s been over a year) goes out of his way not only to research the best options, but actively practices with me, taking vocal and body language cues into consideration. And while I still go to a masseuse a couple times a year, I know that he can (and does) put the right amount of pressure on me when I need it. 
I adore the Soldier! His entries always make me smile.

That’s a good man!
My SO has very, very strong hands and he doesn’t always realize how much pressure he can bring to bear, so I don’t ask him to give me massages anymore. When I work on him, I have to use my freakin’ elbows on his back because his muscles are so well developed. Not everyone has the kinesthetic sense needed to gauge how much pressure to use either.
