“I know what you said. You said you think that I think that sex is the be-all-end-all but you think love is the pinnacle. Love is the be all, end all where I think sex is the thing.”

“Yep, that’s what I said.”

“Uh huh,” I said. “Well I think it’s interesting that you think I think that,” I said. In fact I think it’s amazing.”

“I do think that about you,” he said. “And you didn’t correct me.”

“No I didn’t.”

“So, I’m right?”

“I don’t know. At the moment it’s all I can do to fathom you think that I think that. It’s a hell of a statement.”
