Saturn in Virgo – Communication Thwarted And Just What Is “Help” Anyway?

December 4th, 2007 @ 10:05 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

saturn ringI made a video about all this controversy but for some reason my camera is not recording sound so arrrrrrrgh.

But I wanted to start a (fast… yeah right, dream on) series on Saturn in Virgo because I am getting inundated at the moment with events and scenarios that reek of it.

For example, someone wrote me yesterday to tell me to write something on each of the sun signs, and make them available to her by adding a tab at the top of my blog. Say what? Who is this stranger who believes she can boss my writing?

The current controversy on my blog is also interesting. Who should define (Saturn) what is helpful (Virgo)?

So who should define what is helpful?

Oh Elsa I’m so glad you don’t write the same boring sun sign astrology that you can find a million places on the net. What you give us is so much greater than basic astrology.

I think the person offering help defines what they can contribute and the person receiving help can accept it or find what they need somewhere else.

I like Lupa’s definition with an emphasis on backing off if someone indicates they are not interested in your “help”. There is a LOT of social programming out there pushing a missionary type zeal for minding other people’s business.

Saturn in Virgo can show up as micro-managing too. With Virgo on the MC, I’m best off when left alone to do my thing. :)

Well I want to talk on this topic – TALK and I can’t so I am ultra-frustrated and pissed!! The things I want to say just won’t come across on paper / screen the way I want them too! Hey! Maybe I am supposed to take a day off???

Well I am fuckin’ pissed!! I want to talk like you wouldn’t believe! I have something to say damn it! Instead I am on the phone messing with Netbank (my bank the gov’t seized)… just finally got my car accident case closed after 2 years of trying and untangled a knot of my daughter’s insurance. I hate this kind of stuff but it has to be done. Also need tires for my car to call and wait on hold, at least 4 other entities and do something around here so it looks like Christmas. Blah blah. Tasks, maaaan.

Oh my god who was that clown who told you to do that?!?! By the way, can you crawl through your magic blog and make me a chocolate cake? I’m feeling a bit snackish!

On another note, it seems that Pluto’s last push into Capricorn is like giving birth to the world’s largest baby and Saturn in Virgo is the pushy f***ing nurse who wants everything *just so* before the baby comes!

Kashmiri, upon getting to “Snackish” – I snorted right out loud! Oh and while you’re at it grab me a cold one would ya? hahahaahhhaaa!

I like your blog Elsa because although you give information it isn’t just laid out all boring, I have to think and read, and read and think and go look stuff up, etc. My favorite way to learn, you’ve involved us in the process, you aren’t force feeding it. You do YOUR blog how the heck you want to, anyone else can go p*ss on an electric fence if they don’t like it.

nobody.
i mean, we do what we’re inspired to do, and we can try to help, but, for the most part, the best we really can do is nudge people into figuring out how to help themselves.

most of the time. i always appreciate a good meal made by somebody else :) or even a pot of soup.

but, hey, we’re all wired to do what we do best, so i figure if we really want to do something useful, that’s just about top of the list. and nobody else can really make that decision for you.
