Impressed? Umm, no. 3% matching? It shouldn’t be matching that low .. just breeds paranoicism. I can see some stressed out, newbie professor using this to fry some unwitting girl or boy .. because in today’s age we know who the ‘true enemy’ is .. it’s whoever’s below you, no need to worry about repercussions. (Is the U.S. becoming China?)

Anyhow I’d fathom a guess most plagiarism occurs when “friends” copy friend’s papers .. as I had happen in high school. The girl basically put her name on my paper and resubmitted as hers, and the teacher, the same one I had who always remarked how excellent my papers were, didn’t notice. Or maybe didn’t care. He admitted he’d been very concerned however that *I* had plagiarized and even went to scour the library for what I may’ve copied. Funny, nobody cares if stupid people are copying, it’s what’s expected, but there are many poised to jump in judgment of the potentially crafty (aka intelligent) ones. *scratches head*
