Chainsaws And Stabbings: Mercury The Trickster With Mars Involved Workin’ The Angles

October 5th, 2007 @ 10:39 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life…

chainsawI have Mars conjunct Mercury in my chart and I am going to have violent thoughts…period. Mercury is also a trickster and with Mars involved, hotted up.

A friend of mine has been betrayed, yet again.

“I don’t feel so good,” she said.

“Well yeah. It’s a double stabbing,” I said. “Stabbed in the back not once, but twice.”

“I am going to do this and this,” she said. It was all very passive, covert stuff.

“Oh yeah? I think I’d be going in there with a chainsaw, if it were me,” I said with a snort.

She laughed slightly and explained why she wasn’t going to do that.

“Yeah, I know. Well you’re not me. And I wouldn’t do that anyway, but I would sure have the impulse.”

Later more of the story unfolded…

“Okay, never mind the chainsaw. I don’t think I would want to get that close to these people. How about we just firebomb them from afar?”

I snorted and she laughed.

“Or you could just kill yourself,” I said to be a distraction. She counts on me for this, it’s why she calls. Comic relief. “Point is, I would be doing whatever I had to do to get these people out of my life. I’m going crazy just hearing about them. Good thing I’m not a Pisces because that’s exactly what I’d do if the things that happen to you, happened to me. I would just have to escape. I’m sorry, that’s all. Sorry this happens to you and glad you have a way to cope because I don’t think I could. My skin crawls off my body just standing next to people that stupid. I think you’re a hero with your tolerance and transcendence. It’s mindboggling how you can do it and you can do it.”

“Yeah.”

If you find yourself in the midst of a hornet’s nest, how do you escape?

I just leave, I guess. And then I think about it a lot and try to figure out how it happened.

I’m a Pisces. I’d probably be acting like your friend. Up to a point. Then…because I have a Scorpio Moon/Mars…you just don’t want to make me mad. I might literally explode.

However, if I became just too miserable, I would evaporate in front of your eyes. I’d just be internally gone.

Say nothing (Libra rising), I hate dealing with anything ugly. Remove myself from the situation and never allow it to happen to me again.

I usually avoid people when they make me mad. I have Mars in Virgo so first I have to figure out exactly why I’m mad and disect what happened. I have to figure out what it means and then I decide what to do. Usually I don’t say anything about it to the person though. Usually I just avoid the person if I can, and if it’s someone I can’t avoid then I decide what I’ll do if it happens again. There are some times when something happens, someone says something really bad, but they don’t even hear themselves. If I can identify it when it happens then I can act. But if I miss that moment I am loathe to bring it up again. I am a Pisces. For most people, when they act like assholes they immediately forget about it. That kind of situation always tells me something about the person though, and what they really think.

How? I’m just out of there. I mentally check out, I book a flight, I go for a walk. Simon and Garfunkel had it right ‘there must be forty ways to leave your lover’. Slip out the back jack, hop on a train jane . . Its not escaping I have problems with.

Hahhahahah!

I’m not going to do it their way anyhow so why stand around arguing about it?

Give them enough rope to hang themselves . . . and laugh as I walk out of their lives forever. Mars/Mercury conjunct in Scorpio

crawl in and get cozy, that’s what i’d do. ther’s lots of ways to explain it astrologically but all i know is this: i can wait it out longer than most, and when in doubt: do nothing.

Explode and take everyone with me, then walk out through the hole.
Growing up, my mom was abusive — but only to those that would take it. *smirk* I learned reeaal quick to fight back hard and nasty. It’s caused more problems than it’s solved, though.
