Wow! Sorry to know that affected you (and the others who bank there). Not a good way to start a weekend, eh?

8th house Saturn transit – come to think about it, you’ve been going through a couple of resources being cut lately – first the power in your house going out, now your online bank going out.
Eighth House issues/transits was what popped into my mind too. What a royal pain in the ass!! You’ll get it straightened out but it is so Saturn in Virgo . . . walk through it piece by piece. Lots of well wishing to you!!
I was told that the federal gov insures our bank accounts up to a hundred thousand dollars per account. That’s what keeps everyone from withdrawing all the money they have in the bank and creating a panic.
Amethyst – yeah, but that’s not much comfort if you have 6 million! You get wiped out. And the gov’t can only honor that commitment as long as it has money to do so and the gov’t has no money. We’re sort of in debt, you know? So if a bunch of banks start failing, then what?
If a bunch of banks fail the U.S. is in recession
Um, I think we’ve already hit the point of recession, whether the folks in charge are willing to cop to it or not. Though I guess I’m sitting here in Michigan, which is getting hit harder than the rest of the country…
I think if a bunch of banks start failing, we’re in real trouble. I’m reminded of that article that suggested we start buying gold and stockpiling necessities. *gulp*
