godfather don corleone I was thinking about the Jupiter rising in Gemini serial killer and it occurred to me the guy was German but he took an Italian name for an alias. The ascendant (rising) is your veneer and he’d want to be “international” right? And interesting?

But then it hit me… the psychology. This guy’s first name was Don. Don, then an Italian last name. Get it? He thinks he’s the Godfather. You know. Don Corelone…

With his 8th house packed I can only wonder if this was conscious. I bet it was and I bet he thought he was clever (Gemini).

i find the 8th house is more problematic when it’s unconscious.
though that is silly enough to be a conscious gemini thing. i remember a gemini i grew up with who had a horrible horrible affectation for awful puns. but she thought she was funny….

Chris R – I have nothing against the 8th house, mine is packed. I think Scorpio and 8th house people are kin and I do think 8th house types operate sub and/or semi-consciously much of the time.

I also think ALLLL energy is neutral until directed. This includes Jupiter trines!!!

I completely agree! Actually Jupiter trines & conjunctions can create difficulties from being over-confident – especially the conjunction.

8th House or Scorpio, both have lots of buried crap that is best dug up & exposed to the air and light. You can see the dung beetles at work that way . . . =grin=

hm.
i try to see what i’m doing with the 8th house stuff. otherwise it bites me.

though i usually don’t see it until it arrives and i have to figure out where to let it go.

hm. i guess semiconscious sort of makes sense, though. it’s like i’m floating in the water, but sometimes i drop under and sometimes i bob up to the surface. something like that. but i have to go under to look or otherwise it comes and grabs me.

i’m really touchy about the 8th house. i hear/read all these Bad Things and i don’t think i’m a Bad People
